I've been eagerly anticipating the opening of this restaurant as a big fan of sushi, especially the all you can eat variety. I went ahead and decided I'd try to order a few different rolls to-go first before I come back for all you can eat. Their web interface is easy to use and we were able to select several different rolls and an app and opt to pay in store. I ordered the "choose 3" roll lunch combo, the Peter, and some rangoons. For starters, the 3 rolls for $15 is a great deal and I can see myself just as easily ordering that again! The lunch option is limited on which rolls you can choose but I didnt feel it was lacking. I chose to get the Alaska roll (just because I had no idea what it was), the California roll for my toddler, and the spicy crunchy yellowtail roll. All 3 were great but I loved the Alaska roll! Still dont know exactly what it was but the texture and flavor was perfect. It wasnt fancy but simple and tasty. 10/10 on the lunch trio. The Peter Roll was one of their specialty rolls and I have to say this checked all of the boxes, just all around a good roll. The rangoons we ordered weren't lacking either and I felt they had plenty of filling so we weren't shorted there either.
As this was just a preliminary test, I have to say, I WILL be back for the all you can eat.
Ive been to several AYCE sushi places and while they all vary, this place has a nice casual feel to it so I would recommend this place for a chill date or just to bring a buddy.
Go check it out, dine in or grab to go, the staff were super nice. Glad to see...
Read moreIf you want to gorge yourself on sub-par sushi, this is your place. It's very much like a "sushi-go-round" without the entertainment and anticipation of seeing your favorite dish come down the conveyor. We didn't know it was "all you can eat", however the rules printed on the menu was tacky and borderline antagonistic. Its as if the Soup Nazi wrote them himself. The dining experience is less than a 1 star. Picture going to Pizza Hut, but then getting sushi. There is ZERO atmosphere. This place is an old Pizza Hut and it looks like they spent about $1000 on re-decorating. There's some things with Japanese writing around, but its still 85% Pizza Hut.
The claim on their web site is "good food, good vibes, and making you feel right at home". If you've never had sushi, your idea of "dining" means sitting down instead of driving through, and you have an argumentative mother, then they absolutely nailed it!
In summary, this place is too expensive to be considered "budget friendly", too poor quality food for the price, and too poorly appointed "dining room" to be considered a...
Read moreMy new favorite! We tried Haru Sushi (all you can eat) and were pleasantly surprised — it far exceeded our expectations.
The service was lovely: friendly, prompt, and our server and the manager checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. The space itself is beautifully designed, super clean, while also, family-friendly.
Price-wise, it’s affordable for the quality. My sashimi came in generous, meaty cuts (not the thin slices you sometimes get elsewhere). The shumai and poke salad were fresh and flavorful, but the real standouts were the Peter roll and the Crazy Tuna roll (thanks to our server’s recommendation!). Both rolls were a fun mix of textures and bold, delicious flavors. All of our rolls were also generous portions.
We got there around 5:45 P.M., and by the time we left at 6:15, it was already packed for dinner. Clearly, word is spreading that Haru Sushi is the place to be.
Highly recommend — whether you’re a sushi fan or just looking to try something new...
