This is going to be a long review... Let me start by saying that Danielle the general manager is a master of her craft! In a world where personal service is basically non existent, Danielle stands alone. She truly cares about the customer experience. The experience started with my wife placing a order for delivery. Might I add we live in Richmond VA. My wife was routed to a call center where she had to give our address multiple times to insure the order was being delivered to the correct location. Fast forward 2 hrs later no pizza and charged for an order. We got in touch with the call center again and the representative said "oh we don't deliver from Williamsburg to Richmond". Obviously very frustrated at this point. I called the Richmond VA papjohns that we assumed the order was placed through. This location had no record of an order for us and did not have interest in helping us resolve the issue. I asked to speak to the store manager at this point. The manager CJ came on the line (if that's even his real name) I began to explain our problem and the instant response I received was "we don't have an order for you, I can't help you". At this point I'm getting heated. I then asked CJ how to get intouch with the Williamsburg location since that's where our order was routed to.. " I don't have that number and it's not one of our locations. You could look it up". CJ offered no help what so ever and not one apology about the experience we were having.
I was finally able to reach a live person at the Williamsburg location and was greated by Danielle, the stores GM. As I mentioned earlier in this review, Danielle was helpful right from the start. She first apologized for the experience and confusion. Then went on to say she cares deeply about the experience she provides as her customers are choosing to spend their money at her restaurant. In closing she offered to let her boss know of the experience that we had and took my name and number and promised to call me back.
The experience provided by Danielle was absolutely paramount. She is a true leader, customer service guru, and master...
Read moreAs a Doordash driver will never pick up from this location again. Arrived at the store and guy at front counter was on the phone for about 5 minutes. There were another 2 employees fake working and after about 3 minutes of being completely ignored, I finally told the lady employee I was picking up a Doordash order. She rudely said the guy at the front (who was STILL on the phone) will help me when he is done. And she went right back to doing basically nothing (stacking some pizza cartons). Mind you when walking up to the front counter, she passed the pizza rack that the pizza I was picking up was sitting on. Finally the guy employee gets off the phone and still looking like a space cadet said nothing to me. Didn't even acknowledge me. I had to ask him for the pizza even though I was standing there with my red Doordash pizza bag. He slowly handed me the pizza. I just walked out. I will never pick up from them again. Will decline any Doordash order I get from this location. Ridiculous, lazy employees. HORRIBLE...
Read moreThis place is a joke!!! Website said 31 mins took over an hour, so you know my food was soggy at that point, something you would think a restaurant would know so thanks alot for the dough ball basically!!! Tracker sucks!!! It says where to deliver but of course can't get that right either. Ironically every time i tip over 15%, it takes my food longer to get, uumm kinda backwards right there but thats fine, i now know not to tip over 15%. Better yet, im just deleting their phone # and don't bother sending me a coupon for a free pizza or anything like that, i can make dough at home if thats what i choose to eat, don't need to pay $25 for your dough!!! Done with PAPA JOHN'S UNLESS SHAQ COMES TO SEE ME HIMSELF!!!! And this wasn't even peak lunch/dinner time, that's the sad part. Every single time I've ordered from here something isn't right..... thank God yall aren't brain...
