Here today we are in Williamsburg trying out a social media hit in fabulous colonial Williamsburg Los Paisanos a family owned mexi/American fused restaurant . Walking in it’s very colorful and Quaint morning breakfast is family style while at night you may find yourself waiting for a try at their great cuisine. I had the Huevos rancheros a traditional Mexican breakfast plate with refreíd beans eggs over medium and tortillas smothered in salsa and please ask for their homemade salsa you will love it , At first I must say I was skeptical this was another try at a Mexican popup but I was relieved upon the first bite of my dish as it Caressed my palate . My waitress Kathy sought to my every need as she table touched several times to insure I was content and well fed . So if your in the Williamsburg area please go try Los Paisanos you will thank me later what an in credible find a gem . I give this Restaurant a 5⭐️review the owners whom are Salvadoran nailed it and them some . Also I went by for dinner service the following day and had the Enchiladas again they nailed it absolutely amazing food see the pics below this place is a must destination for all you foodies out there look the decorations as mentioned in earlier reviews mean absolutely nothing this place is extremely clean and the food amazing for get the decorations 🧑‍🍳 Follow on foodie ,face book and food Network .org

Absolutely delicious! If you're looking for fancy Mexican food this isn't it. This is authentic style Mexican food (Tex-Mex) and it is on point! For some reason it comes up as a breakfast restaurant but it I'm told that's only in the morning. The service was great although it also wasn't busy when we were there. The owner was courteous and, although it is a little worn inside, it was clean. Pictures are off my leftover Al Pastor tacos and rice. My husband had shrimp enchiladas and they were on point too. The sauces and salsa were flavorful but not overpowering. All around great experience.

This is a great Mexican restaurant with a calming atmosphere. The staff was really nice. The interior was decorated sparsely and was relaxing. My wife and I are eating a vegan diet and they took our custom order in stride: I asked for no dairy and she asked for no dairy and no mushrooms. The vegetarian tacos were delicious, the rice was flavorful, the chips were crunchy and not too salty, and the salsa refreshing. They brought out hot sauce as a side and I think it was made there. What more can you ask for? When we are in the area again, we'll be back.

I was driving by and caught this restaurant with the corner of my eye. Me and the rest of my family visited to check it out later that evening and were blown away. Entering the store you are greeted by the friendly staff who is quick and alert. When seated the first thing you notice is the simple yet very clean and comfortable atmosphere. The menu was simple (in a good way) it described what the meals were and there was a great variety in what you could pick. There was also a solid set of vegetarian option incase that's a concern. The food itself was amazing and the absolute highlight of the visit. The dishes are hearty and have alot on them. So there is no fear to whether or not it will fill you up. The shrimp and fish were especially well seasoned and i savored each bite. After the main course we felt the temptation of trying the tacos. The tortillas were hand made and were amazing the meats were also very good and savory. The tacos give the exact feeling you may have when in a Mexican family party. We were truly amazed by this new hidden gem in the area. The food is well priced delicious the staff is amazing with a very likeable family running it. It has surely and truly become a favorite of ours and we are sure to be back to visit often. If you want a traditional Mexican Hispanic dinner you are sure to enjoy...

This restaurant was the best surprise of our trip! We finally found a local Mexican place with food that is memorable! We got the bean dip to go with our chips. A black bean based dip with queso on top, it's great to see a easy coast place offer this option. For dinner I had the carnitas platter. What a delight! The carnitas were tender with a heat that wasn't overpowering but built up over time - delicious! The refried beans were again black bean based, very tasty. The rice was a big surprise for me as I'm not usually a fan. It was cooked perfectly with a hint of peppers in the flavor, very tasty and went well with carnitas. My wife has the vegetarian potatoe taquitos which were a treat. Both entrees' were generous in portion and we couldn't quite finish everything (Sally no room to try dessert- next time then). Our servers were very friendly and were quick to bring out our order. It was our waitress that suggested the carnitas platter over the burrito, and I'm thankful she did. The drinks were very good, the margarita was perfect, and for soft drinks they have Coke products (including Coke Zero so this review should be 6 stars). It's not in the usual location for Williamsburg eateries, but it's not too far either, well...
