Mama's Pizza — Restaurant in Williamston

I am must admit that i am very upset with this restaurant. I am from this area but relocated. I know that racisim is real but when I saw the video and saw the genuine hurt that a young man had which was caused by eating here touched my heart. To know that the waitress told him that the cooks just taken the tomatoes off and brought it back to him is one point. I would not have paid either. He could of had a food allergy. The fact that this young man offered to pay for the portion that he did eat goes to show that he was being compromising. Many people would not have paid for any of it. Then to have the police called on him just to add insult to injury. I work in the food business and i take pride in what I do. The fact that the waitress admitted they messed up and could not just make a fresh sandwhich is not good customer service at all. I am going to pray for this restaurant but until they make it right with this young man me nor family will not be eating here. And they are blocking people from the page who are leaving comments about the situation but you cannot...

We went here for lunch. Us, being very friendly people, got treated back the same by the staff, which was nice and expected. However, upon looking at the menu, I saw the striking difference between this resto and the Mama's pizza we normally go to in Tarboro. The food is pretty expensive here. So ok, I thought that maybe due to COVID and it's hard to get staffing and raw materials being high too lately that we'd expect delicious food, but no. While they're served warm and fresh, the pasta sauce of my Alfredo was extremely greasy as if a gallon of oil had been used, and it doesn't taste the same as the one in Tarboro. Then, I asked for a box to just take out my food maybe my son would eat it, but no one came back. We had to ask the front desk for my to-go box. I'm not really happy with my dining experience so far. I'd probably just keep going to the Tarboro Mama's Pizza, where prices are much better and expect the food to be...

What a delicious surprise! Stopped in while traveling because I was hoping for a quick salad and maybe a slice of pizza. I was welcomed with a smile and invited to “sit anywhere you like”, and immediately offered a beverage. I ordered a Stromboli and was encouraged to visit the salad bar instead of having a salad prepared for me. The salad bar was well-stocked and clean, with fresh items and sanitary, generous individual dressing portion cups. But my mouth was really in for a treat when my steak Stromboli was delivered hot out of the oven! Housed in a flaky crust with layers reminiscent of a hearty croissant, the large pastry was FILLED with tender flavorful shaved steak and loads of gooey cheese! The accompanying sauce cup was delicious and more was offered several times! I was presented an extra cup of sauce, a box and a to-go cup as I was leisurely finishing my meal. I will be eagerly awaiting my next trip through...
