Not so bad. Right when you walk in, you see cool, old timey country decorations. Nice wooden tables and seating areas. A good amount of light, nice and bright.
Our waitress was at our table within about 2 minutes. Got us waters and menus. Very polite, friendly and professional. She took our orders and within 8-9 minutes our food was out.
We could hear the cooks and the chef in the back calling out orders, which is a great thing if you know anything about running a kitchen. You want your cooks and chef talking to each other. Once we heard that, we knew we were in a good place.
Food on table, under 10 minutes. Was DELICIOUS. Nice and hot. Fresh. Good portion size. I literally cleaned my plate of every last drop of food. I ordered chicken fried steak. My wife ordered a skillet. Everything was cooked well. Tasted wonderful.
I will 100% for sure be back there with my family. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you have never been there.
EDIT
Went back again. Ordered pancakes for my son, corned beef hash for breakfast for me.
The pancake was like leather. Could barely cut it with a knife. Not fluffy at all. Terrible.
The Hash literally looked like it came out of a can. Not even joking, we 100% thought it was out of a can and heated up and served on a plate. Very disappointing considering our first experience was so good.
I am not sure why our two visits were so completely different. Maybe the good cook quit and the new one just doesn't care about cooking good food.
Another hit or miss place in Williston. This town really does not care about providing good food for guests. Don't expect good food when...
Read moreWe were here August 11th at about 1030 am and it was pretty busy we sat down and boom there was our waitress super nice girl with brown hair anyhow, I ordered a patty melt with fries and david ordered whatever the first breakfast is on the menu..
The food took about 45 minutes but that was ok they are busy for heavens sakes. I'm kind of a patty melt expert because I cook in restaurants as well and I know the only way I'm going to be super impressed is if they use marble rye on their patty melt, you have to have marble rye it's just the way it is. Well good job cooks and yes they do put marble rye and they use a mixture of Swiss and white American congrats boys in the kitchen I'm really impressed because if you just use Swiss it gets cold quick and isn't melt anymore does that make sense? Kudos to the cooks and the servers are all nice..good...
Read moreThis place is always busy so I decided to stop in early before the rush for breakfast.
Honestly one of the most disappointing meals ever. My "over easy" eggs had a hard yolk. Their "special sausage" which you can't substitute was just a store bought smoked sausage (the type you grill for dinner) and it was ice cold in the middle. The gravy over the biscuits was obviously some store bought thing they got out of a can. The food came out way to fast telling me they have everything premade and probably just reheat it rather then cooking to order.
The wait staff was friendly and very quick, no complaints at all with them and the place appeared to be very clean.
I really don't understand the people leaving good reviews for breakfast here. If they think this is good they need to get out more. I should have just went to mcdonald's...
