⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!! I was blown away by this place. I went twice the week they opened. Every time a new restaurant opens in Williston, the town freaks out and bombards the place. They run out of food, the staff isn’t ready , the cooks aren’t up to par. Slim Chickens was the exact opposite. If anything, they were over prepared. They had a ton of staff, every member of which was busy, being productive, super friendly, and very knowledgeable about the many questions the new customers had. The cooks and service were both lightening fast, as I had barely sat down when my meal was served both visits. The employee serving me both times was very friendly and polite. And the chicken…well, it won’t be keeping me slim! The wings were the best, by far, I’ve had anywhere in town. Juicy, meaty, moist, with a perfect fry for a little crisp when you bite. The tenders were also very good, also meaty, juicy, and flavorful, but the wings were out of this world. I had the bbq, ranch, and honey mustard sauces, all of which, especially the ranch, were great. The sides (garlic bread and fries) were hot, fresh, and certainly above average. I didn’t try the desserts , but I will. All in all, this was the most successful I’ve seen any restaurant open in this town in the 10 years I’ve lived here. Mom and pop restaurants and other corporate restaurants included. The employees were obviously well trained, prepared, and very friendly. Service was very fast and friendly. And the food was just freaking awesome. Thumbs up, Slim Chickens!!!!! I only hope that 6 months from now, when the novelty for the town has worn off, you continue to be as excellent as you were...
Read moreDO NOT GO AFTER 8pm. Normally slim Chickens is my go to for something fast. Got off work late like a lot of us in the Bakken and ordered the 5&5 meal, my lady ordered the Cayenne chicken sandwich. I was pretty excited as usual to eat. And one of my faves from this place is the fries. We ordered through the drive through and pulled to the parking space to eat. Ok First my fries were not by ANYMEANS fresh. They were soggy and cool without the normal seasonings. The chicken tenders were as if "the bottom of the barrel" was a adjective to explain. The toast that normally comes with the meal was the best part. As for my ladies sandwich, her exact words were " man I must been super hungry to have enjoyed this the last time I had it" that being said her sandwich was sub par as well. The staff just pulled out what ever meat was left from the lunch rush and gave it to us. Unfortunately she is now regurgitating her dinner in the porcelain thrown and I feel like I drank a gal of prune juice. So for this review I will say the best time to eat here is during lunch rush. Dinner and up.. better off going...
Read moreFrom the day this restaurant opened I was impressed with the quantity of service and speed that they process the orders, that changed today, I am thoroughly unimpressed, 25 minutes to deliver a chicken strip meal and when I asked about when the order would get through the girl just shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know, when the order finally came out that same girl stood at the till with my order in her hands and proceeded to have a lengthy discussion with a departing guest. Really!!! Have that discussion on your time not mine!!! I don't know what happened to the original staff that cared about customer service, but what you now have is nothing more than a joke, say goodbye to another customer I will...
