Smiling Moose — Restaurant in Williston

I haven't been to this restaurant in a couple years. I decided today was the day because I've always liked their food. Well things have changed. I don't do negative reviews so this is my 1st. I ordered a sandwich and a salad which came to $30. I get my food, I go to work, I open my sandwich, & there isn't enough meat on it for both halfs of the 12" roll. Then my salad dint have salad dressing. I work on the outskirts of town & was at work so couldn't go back. I called, the Team Lead came to the phone. He explained that if had I gotten the bread it would had been enough meat but because I got the 12" roll that's why it seems to not have enough. Question, why offer bigger bread/rolls if you don't fill it? But I was more upset that I had this salad w no dressing so here it sits. He did apologize but did not offer any compensation. I said, this makes a difference if I come back or not. He proceeded to hang up on me. Thus I had enough & why the review. Had he said come tomorrow & we will give you a fresh salad or the dressing or anything, I'd of been ok. But when you just hang up, well, no, you've...

We have been going here for years. Last night was our worse experience ever. We ordered our regular burger, only to find out that pastrami had been taken off the menu, not a huge deal, just disappointing. I ordered Mac and cheese and a waffle fries, only to find they had already closed down the fryer. So I changed it to a salad. I ordered ranch, which they forgot. We went to sit down to find the lobby had been closed down. While waiting We noticed that raw meat was sitting on the counter unattended while the person that was processing it was just chatting with some random guy. It had been on the counter for a good 30 mins. Yuck!! It took about 20 mins to get our food, and we went to eat outside. I went to take a bite of my Mac and cheese and it was sour, like way past due sour. My salad was just a handful of spinach with some chicken and cheese. Was not impressed at all. The district manager pretends to listen to you. Because when I told him I ref was not going to spend my whole shift in tears and that I needed to go home, he told me OK. So I grabbed my things & left. But by the time I got home, he called me and fired me because he said “I walked out on my shift.” So obviously he was just pretending to want to hear my comment about my reprimand. I would recommend not relaying your complaints to Matt. He bounces between the Watford & Williston store. Also do not work for the smiling moose in Williston. Management doesn’t do anything about people doing their job wrong, other than to make fun of them when they’re not around. Very unhealthy working environment.
