I usually just go to the Starbucks inside Target, but since this location happened to be open today I decided to stop.
First off, the manager and two baristas were behind the counter when I walked in. One of the baristas was really sweet, and told me to take my time deciding what I wanted meanwhile the other barista was wildly standoffish and had this annoyed attitude. I order, they forget to hand me one of the drinks— no biggie. Before leaving I decide I’d also like to purchase a bag of coffee and a cookie, so I go back to the register to pay. Now I’m back at the other end waiting for my cookie, and despite it being not busy at all— and the manager posted the drive thru where the cookies are, it takes over 15 minutes for them to get me my cookie. I ask the barista if she could just grab my cookie for me, she says “no, she’ll get it for you.” (Pointing to the manager) about 4-5 minutes goes by again before the manager brings over the bag with one single precooked just heated up cookie inside. She then proceeds to tell me “have a super fantastic day.” In such a way that just sounds bitchy and insincere.
I left feeling like I was stuck in a fight or flight response. Just dumbfounded and unsure...
Read moreWhile waiting to order, the barista came over the intercom several times saying "how're you today," "can you hold just a minute," and "have a good day" before I had ordered. While they were very polite, I was concerned my order would be messed up because of the confusion over the intercom. I ordered 2 venti strawberry acai with water. Once I got to the window, i received 3 grande strawberry acai with lemonade. I asked if these were venti, trying to prompt the barista that my order was wrong. She responded with, no these are grande. I told her I had ordered 2 venti with water and instead of suggesting the customer was right, she responded saying "well i heard 3 grande." I've worked in customer service and while this is a tiny mistake, I wish the barista would've responded in a more positive manner and willing to fix the mistake. I don't tolerate sugar in the lemonade well which is why I had asked for the strawberry acai with water. I also paid for 2 venti drinks compared to 3 grande. Read moreMight be a good idea to update store hours on google as well as Starbucks app. App and google said they opened at 6:30am (Wed) so I thought I’d place a mobile order to pick up before going to work at 7am. The order said it would be ready at 6:46am but when I get there the door is locked and I’m told they open at 7am. (Their sign with hours on the door also said that they open at 5:30am??) I explained I had to work at 7 and she said just a moment. Another person comes up to the door who also had a mobile order and the girl came back and very rudely said to her that they open at 7 and locked the door. At this point I now see my drink sitting on the counter but they won’t open the door till 7 and I’m now going to be late for work. If I had known they open at 7 I never would have placed an order and gone to Caribou instead so please figure out your store hours and have them posted correctly on the door and...
