Caribou has their Memorial Day perk, going from Thursday to Monday, and it’s a buy 1 get 1 Cabin Bar Mocha. Since buying coffee adds up quickly, I try to only get them when I have a perk. On the second day of them offering this deal (Friday) I went to get a couple of the mochas, and was told they were out of that flavor syrup that they use in their Cabin Bar Mocha. I asked if they could still do it minus that syrup, or substitute it for just another syrup, she said no. Then I asked if they would be willing to just let me use the perk on a different flavor mocha, and again she said no... really? Maybe there is a reason she couldn’t, but I don’t think the situation was handled well. Working in the food service industry, I know that you usually want to try to work with your customer to have them leave satisfied, and yet there was no effort made. She didn’t really say anything else or offer anything, so I took it as we can’t honor the perk we announced, so you’ll have to just choose two different drinks and pay full price. I ended up leaving without getting anything, and haven’t bothered to go back since I have no idea when or if they will be able to honor the perk. Left standing at the counter waiting for my order to be taken for over 5 mins while an employee worried about clocking out of his shift and two other employees were not getting along behind the counter. When you get an iced coffee, I’m pretty sure it should have ice. One of the workers was wearing pajama pants and a hoodie… no dress code?? This is why I am a firm believer in Starbucks and will not return to Caribou. What a joke! Side note to a review: Caribou customer support will respond saying to email them with specifics and they will contact you, don't plan on every hearing back from them when you email them. Read moreWe went through the drive thru, got the wrong things. We get it, things happen. We went inside to just say we got the wrong drinks. We ended up getting the people's drinks that were behind us. There was one specific girl in there making the drinks at around noon, who gave us our "right" drinks but as she sat my campfire cooler down, she says, "here you go, wrong toppings but it's the right drink" ...I looked at her because she had white and milk chocolate on there. I just wanted white. She knew she made it wrong, AGAIN. Then she proceeds to say, "trust me, or don't " ...we've had never a problem at this Caribou before until this specific employee.
