I love the ambiance of the old buildings in DTW (downtown Willoughby for those who are not from the area) and this store is no exception. I stopped for some baked goods after a breakfast across the street at Crepes in the City (reviewed prior). I ordered..to go mind you.. A brown sugar scone that the cashier assured me tasted like a poptart only better. It was nothing like a poptart but in a good way. Not nearly as sickeningly sweet. It's a scone after all. Next was a small fudge donut. Ehhh. Dime a dozen flavor. Then asiago bagel w a ridiculous $1 cream cheese. I mean an entirr 8oz brick of cream cheese is only a buck retail. The bagel was ok, but just ok. The most odd thing was it was a to go order that required no cutting or toasting..any preparation im fact, BUT I had to wait for someone else to make the order and present it to me. 5 minutes. Huh? I was the only one...

Ugh, our hunt for great coffee continues. My caramel coffee was subpar. The espresso was weak and the caramel wasn't mixed in properly so I couldn't taste it until the very end. The Mexican Mocha was not drinkable. A proper Mexican Mocha should be a latte with chocolate sauce mixed in and cinnamon. If you want to stray from that, fine but you should really add a description then because this was steamed chocolate milk, no chocolate sauce or cinnamon and a ton of cayenne sprinkled on top, making it so unpleasant. Our order was already messed up once before we noticed this issue so we didn't feel comfortable asking for it to be remade again.

On top of that, we didn't notice until too late that this business has cop positive and Christian memorabilia. Definitely not the type of business we would normally support so we will avoid...

I am breastfeeding a baby with a severe dairy intolerance, therefor I can’t have anything with dairy. I rarely eat out because of this but figured I would give Fiona’s a try because I’ve heard good things. I got a Turkey wrap and asked if their Mayo contained diary. The girl at the registered said yes so I told her I had an intolerance and cannot have Mayo on it and to please make sure there was no dairy. She said she would and I even told her again how important it was there was no dairy. I looked at the wrap when I got it and took a bite trusting that my dietary restrictions were honored. NOPE. Mouth full of Mayo. This caused my baby to have an extremely upset stomach. If I had a dairy allergy this could have resulted in an emergency room visit. Would never...

We had just set up our campsite in Todd Field after riding >50 miles from Jefferson and made a plan about getting a shower. We climbed the stairs to ground level near City Hall, where the shower truck was located, the lines were so long that they extended almost back down to the field. Our plan was to wear our bike gear and relax downtown and return for a shower much later. That worked beautifully and started with a delicious cup of Cuban Latte and a sweet at Fiona's Coffee Bar & Bakery. The service was impressive, the folks were all very friendly and our experience there improved our mood and increased our energy. Thank you very much Fiona's

I went here the other day to escape the cold with a friend. They were out of bagels so I ordered the avocado toast. I’ve ordered Avocado toast in a lot of different states / countries and I’ve never been this disappointed. There was literally nothing on the dry toast besides the avocado. No salt. No pepper. Nothing. To say they lack creativity is an understatement. You have the freedom to serve this toast any way you like and you choose nothing. The atmosphere in this coffee shop is pleasant and the coffee is alright but I don’t think I’ll ever order food here again. If you are hungry go somewhere else.

What a delightful, charming gem of a place! Beautiful reuse of a former hardware store. Features Cleveland/NE Ohio partners (❤️Rising Star coffee, ❤️Mitchell’s ice cream, ❤️ Great Harvest Bread Co bagels, ❤️Inca Tea) as well as their own mini doughnuts in all sorts of tempting flavors. Perfectly priced and portioned to go with a cup of coffee. Relaxing atmosphere, great for a catch up with a friend or a wind down after a long day. An upstairs space is available for larger gatherings. Absolute perfect capper to an evening eating and drinking through downtown Willoughby.
