Spirits in WIlloughby — Restaurant in Willoughby

My partner and I have been here multiple times over the years and this place has always been great but the past few times we have come here our service has been horrible. The waitress has been openly hostile from the beginning with an attitude of I don’t want to do this and I don’t want to be here. We both work in the service industry so we understand if it’s been a hard day or if it’s busy but it hasn’t been the past few times we’ve been here and it’s been the same server every time. Walking away when we are asking questions and not apologizing for it, saying we are telling her to much when we have talked slowly and clearly and if you aren’t ready to take our order then do not have your note pad and pen out ready to write down what we would like. Especially don’t make condescending remarks about me not wanting to order anything else other than an appetizer because of her attitude and killing what ever vibe there was. We were looking forward to coming here because we haven’t been in a while and this isn’t the first time it’s happened and I wanted to be chill and not say anything but not anymore not when this is the fifth time she has been this way. Her name was Claudia and I normally never do anything like this but when this isn’t the first time this has happened I believe in multiple chances but only so much and I am done...

(Edit) 7-26-23 The wings here are hit and miss for some reason. Consistency should be easy when it comes to fried food but for some reason my 20 wings came out with mushy skin once again despite asking for them to be crispy. I learned that once sauced the wings cannot be put back into the fryer and instead of re-firing more the correct way, I was told they could "crisp" them up in the oven by, I'm assuming the female owner or manager. When I asked for new wings you could see her struggling with the decision in her head, probably thinking about saving money vs making me happy. Well that money saving technique has cost her a loyal customer because the wings came back a little better but still under cooked. There is no excuse for poor customer service. But there are dozens of other places to go for quality wings. Additionally we attempted to to place a take out order one Saturday evening and were left on hold for 12 minutes before someone hung up. I've personally witnessed the staff become overwhelmed by an increase of guests, we even over heard a waitress unprofessionally complain about another customer in obvious ear shot of myself and a few other people. I get it, it's just a dive bar but come-on at least rise to and enforce certain standards. The bathroom is gross too. 3 out of 5 Visit if everywhere...

Went at approximately 3:45pm Saturday 10/8/22. Saw on yelp that they had good reviews, had outdoor seating, and had live music (3-6). Upon entering my wife and I noticed we were the only minorities, and there wasn't live music playing. We have received good service at other places when being the minority so we didn't think much of that, and the band seemed to be taking a break which is understandable.

We entered and my wife asked a waitress do we have to be seated or do we seat ourselves. The waitress said seat yourself, we'll notice you and assist you. We sat at a table, and shortly after two people sat to the left of us. The waitress attended to the people to the left of us, behind us, and a table to the right of us at least 3 times each without paying us any attention. Didn't offer us menus, ask about beverages, nothing. Waited an additional 10-15 minutes and still nothing so we left and enjoyed a meal up the street at...
