I do not like leaving low reviews, but this establishment has changed so drastically since early last year. We were patrons of THE original Bob's when it was in downtown Willoughby. We live far west (nearly an hour away) and would continue to drive out even after Pizza Booyah took over. Last night was the third time I'd been here since early '23. The first time, in early spring, the subs were amazing as usual. We returned in the summer and the portions had shrunk and the signature pepper blend was replaced by banana peppers. The final straw was last night's sandwiches. There was so little meat and cheese that it was unacceptable. The portions were like what you'd see in a gas station kid's meal sub. I'd read about new ownership and if that's the case, then maybe they'll view this as a call to return to the subs that we've known for over a decade from Pizza Booyah.

Like previous reviewers I started eating at Bob's when it was in a tiny store on a side street in Downtown Willoughby. It’s fame traveled by word of mouth. Yesterday I ordered a Bob's Original.” My review: Disappointed. The sub was still wrapped in “butcher paper” a plus. The sandwich had little meat and no cheese. See attached picture. Obviously missing was Bob's Ultimate Sub Sauce. Also attached find Bob's early menu listing ingredients of the Ultimate Original Sub. Compare the ingredient list with the sub pictured in this review. Anyone know of a excellent sub shop like Bob's was in the past?

We used to go to this place back when they were in dtw. The food is awful now. I ordered. Club sub. I had barely any turkey, no bacon at all, no cheese, but loaded with onions. My husband ordered a meatball sub with typical cheese and meatballs. cheese is overloaded with dry basil seasoning. We also ordered a margarita pizza. It’s not fresh ingredients. Only chopped tomatoes and dried basil. Gross. The mozzarella sticks were cold.

The subs here were OK , similar to Dave's cosmic subs. The consistency of the way the subs were made doesn't match up. One time my girlfriend got a veggie sub and the mushrooms and onions were sauteed and this time she went they were raw. They say the bread has no eggs and they say the sub sauce contains no cheese but I'm suspicious of it as it tastes like Caesar dressing. Going to ask them again next time I go to make sure and this time pitch it as an allergen, people are more receptive to that rather than saying 'vegan'. The value of the subs is fantastic, it was 4.99 for a foot long sub which is stuff full of what you order. Grab napkins, its a bit of a messy meal if its overly stuffed. Fries are...
