Ariboba Joe — Restaurant in Willow Park

Second time getting milk tea and bingsu here. My only complaint is I ordered my usual brown sugar milk tea but wanted to try it with oat milk. It’s an upcharge for the milk alternative, but apparently they use an “alternate” recipe that basically uses barely any milk. Tastes just like iced tea with tapioca so was a bit disappointing. Regular milk tea and bingsu were very good.

*response to company reply: I do not believe it was a lack of sweetener. My child ordered a regular milk tea that looked how you would expect, my tea clearly just had much less milk in it and looked like tea. I could see the sweetener on the inside of the cup. I’d suggest reviewing whatever recipe you use for milk alternatives and just make them the same way you would your normal milk tea. That is what I would expect anywhere I order something with an alternative milk...

So bummed to only give three stars as I really wanted this to be my go-to boba place. I have gone in three times, one of which was on opening day. The day they opened was the only time they had boba available in the morning (around 10a) - which I find strange for a place with “boba” in the name. One of the times I was told the boba would take an hour to cook and the next time told the same thing but that “people don’t normally get boba in the morning…” I just assumed they’d have it ready all the time since they are a boba place.

Anyway - I’ll continue going to the shop in Hudson Oaks for my boba. Otherwise, the atmosphere was great and the time I did have a boba drink, it...

I had a fantastic experience at Ariboba Joe! The owner Ariana Storms seems to have created a wonderful space where creativity and quality shine through in every drink. I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Boba Tea! I can say that it was full-bodied with flavor and refreshing. Her selection of Boba teas is just amazing with vibrant colors and artistic presentation, a standout spot in Willow Park. They make all their drinks right in front of you too!
