Bad: Time it took for drive through Confusion at window due to lack of workers at window Food wasn’t that great as well as forgot items and drinks wasn’t great
We showed up before our last Christmas events planning on getting food and getting out quick. Pulled in the second opening and ordered food and was told it was $12 even and to pull up behind the other cars in line 1 so we did. It took awhile to get to the window it wasn’t extremely busy at the drive through so it was a longer than normal wait for the amount of cars in line. Once we got to the window two cars came up on the right lane and they decided to move both cars in front of me in our lane and one had to parallel park to fit between the first car and I. I was getting frustrated since only one guy was running the window register and taking food out. They had no help for him, plus they were putting people that were at the back of the line in front of us. The guy at the window dealt with the two in front of me, then asked me what my order was and when I told him he got confused and couldn’t find the order. I handed him the money and then he tried handing it back in confusion. I was patient with him since it wasn’t his fault, I told him several times what the order is and what my name was and the amount they told me he then put my order in again and I paid. Once I got my drink it was flat they then asked me to move forward so I did. Once I sat there for a while I decided they must have given my order to the cars that cut in line since he said it looked like the order had been payed for and picked up. My girlfriend got frustrated since we had been in line for 30 minutes and went inside to get a Dr Pepper that wasn’t flat. I sat in line as the next four people behind me passed me up leaving the drive through. A different guy took over the drive through and brought my food out to me handed it to me and walked off with no words said. When I pulled around to pick up my girlfriend from the front door she hopped in saying she changed it for root beer since the Dr Pepper was still flat the second refill. Once we got into the food the hamburger was good the fries were barely warm and they didn’t give me any ketchup which I had repeatedly asked for at the window and at the drive through order screen. Read moreI cannot implore you enough to stay away from this store. It takes a LOT to make me feel the need to leave a negative review. I’m disgusted with my experience the other day. Details from my most recent order below.
First things first, their drive thru is not only unresponsive, but unprofessional. I always have to speak into the speaker after waiting 30 seconds to a minute without a response. The wait time for food is always crazy! I’ve never waited less than 10 minutes for my food and there are typically no more than 2-3 vehicles in front of me. I wish it was because they were making my food fresh.
My most recent order (12/6) was a burger combo. There were 3 vehicles in line. I drove straight up to lane A and sat for 30-45 seconds without being acknowledged. I offered a friendly “hello” and got “hi, what do you want to order”. Whatever, I can deal with 16yo kids not understanding how to address people. I ordered and waited AT LEAST 10 minutes before I got to the window. I pulled up and my food was waiting on me. That, I was grateful for. As I was eating my burger, I was halfway through and found a penny-sized piece of blue plastic in what would have been my next bite. No idea where it came from. I chose to eat my fries and forego the rest of my burger. I drank my tea down to about half and had to step into a meeting. I’d asked for light ice, which I got. When I came back out an hour later, my ice had melted. I went to take a drink of my 1-hour-old tea and was met with a SLIME CLOT IN MY MOUTH! I was not at all rude to anyone who worked there, so I can’t imagine it was anything sinister. I assume it was slime from the melted ice. Read moreYes, there stars is an odd rating. The service I get every time no matter how people are in line is super friendly and pretty prompt. The clerks are really attentive and treat you with a familiar kindness. The kitchen crew definitely keeps a clean kitchen and that can be seen from the counter!
Now for the not so good. I rarely get frustrated with food service personally as I've worked in a kitchen myself but... almost every single time I've ordered food here, they mess up the order. I get it these are young adults primarily in the kitchen, and I give them credit they bust their tails off.
Everyone has an opinion on how to run someone else's business. This time I guess I'm no different. This kitchen is in dire need of someone to bring accountability and leadership.
