In response to Owner response, A few facts I want to make crystal clear:
I did email your staff on March 21, 2025, time stamp of 7:42 am regarding my order, stating I was a first time customer, unaware of your policy and I didnāt understand the final sale policy on the discount applied. Despite the fact that your email system sends an auto-response that all emails will be answered āASAP and even outside business hoursā, I NEVER received a response. NO ONE ever responded to me. Radio silence. So youāre absolutely wrong in stating I did not email first to try to resolve the issue prior to leaving a review.
There was nothing explicit on my invoice regarding final sale or on the website regarding final sales on promo codes. If it were then I would not have spent (and wasted) $20 to ship the items back.
My review is simply that, my unsatisfactory experience with your boutique and lack of customer service.
I am not the only one who provided a 1 star review- you had one last year with another customer with a similar experience. Your statement of mine being the only one in 11 years of business is completely inaccurate.
I donāt appreciate your implication that Iām not being truthful. I am not āblastingā your business but simply making others aware of my experience. I have the right to rate my experience with your business and I unashamedly did so. I spent a good amount of money as a new customer and that seems to mean nothing to your staff, to the point I received no response to my email and a hasty response to my review rating. Thatās entirely on you.
I stand by my 1 star review and the response, or lack thereof, received by your business only further solidifies the 1 star rating.
Shoppers beware. I made the mistake of ordering from this online boutique. Iām a Texas native and want to support local business. Since I was a first time patron, I decided to take advantage of the 20% discount offered by the site to new customers. I ordered several pieces, all at full price, no sale items. I applied the 20% discount offered. After receiving the items, I tried them on immediately the day they arrived. Several items did not fit so I returned them the very next day. I paid over $20 to ship the items back. I received a notice from the boutique that all of the items I returned were ineligible for return since the 20% new customer discount was applied. I was given the option to either have them returned to me (less shipping cost) or they would be donated.
I have never shopped anywhere, local or chain store where items were considered āfinal saleā when a discount was applied. Again, none of the items I purchased were on sale or out of season. There was no notice given that if a discount was applied that the purchased items would be ineligible for return or I would have never purchased in the first place. I would have not taken that risk from a store I have never purchased from previously.
Itās unfortunate as it seems to be a great small business from my home state with cute clothing. However, itās clear they donāt value their customers with a policy like this. For that reason, I will not be a returning customer and felt it was only right to warn other potential shoppers so that no one else falls victim to this outrageous policy.
