Ranch House Donuts. - - - Seriously, some genuine thought clearly went into these donuts. They are distinctly above and beyond the generic donut shop formula, yet they are also exactly what you're really craving when you feel a bit like Homer Simpson. They are simply the ideal version of the modern traditional donut--perfectly fluffy, yet not lacking in toothsome substance... Real sugar glaze, generously covering the outer surface so no bite is left out, yet without overpowering the clean savor of fresh bread inside... the sausage was piping hot yet the roll was so perfectly designed that it didn't seem microwaved at all--still dry, even, and soft, as if the whole thing was made fresh to order in separate ovens, combined at the last second... The choice to go with sliced cheese meant a perfectly even layer of super melty cheese adorned every bite...

This is an example of people working to simply do one thing as well as they possibly can, finding more satisfaction in honing their chosen craft to a razor's edge than they would in simply settling for adequacy. Bravo. They're literally the Best donuts I've ever had, and I've had an adventurous range.

Note that the only bad reviews are from deeply entitled, self-righteous Karens who don't know sh!+ about the food industry and/or somehow, the global supply chain issues (you know, the ones THAT HAVE AFFECTED EVERY INDUSTRY IN THE WORLD FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS HOLY MOTHER OF PASTRIES)

Such people will always find something to complain about, and will always be comically misguided in where they assign the blame. May they all talk to the great Manager in...

Somehow they managed to get my other review removed, but I think it’s important for those thinking about patroning this donut shop.

Long story short, I gave them business for several months, getting our Sunday donuts for my family from their store.

I placed my normal order of a 10 chocolate glazed, two old fashioned (making it a mixed dozen), 4 jumbo cheese and 2 jalapeño cheese kolaches. The older lady rang up my order for a mixed dozen PLUS an upcharge for my two donuts. It was an extra .50, so I decided to let it slide even though this was the 3rd time I had been overcharged for things I didn’t get and had to go back. I got home and realized they gave me 4 jalapeños and 2 cheese. Whatever. I would split the normal ones among my 4 boys and we’d have two extra jalapeños. But we had time to take them back before church and it was on the way. So we stopped back in and I explained that they got the order wrong and I would like to get two cheese kolaches. I showed them the box that had the two leftover jalapeño ones in there and this is where it gets hairy.

She took them out of the box, and instead of throwing them away like any business would do under ideal world health conditions…

SHE PUT THEM BACK ON THE RACK

… I told her she should not do that and she should throw them away. Unfortunately, she didn’t listen and I got the manager involved who threw them away.

Bottom line is, I will not be back and I highly recommend you look elsewhere so you don’t risk buying used donuts...

We contacted them Sunday night at 10 pm after finding out they made specialty donuts. I requested some Happy Birthday donuts for the following morning. Despite their other orders, they were able to complete my request. Not only did they call me when the order was ready, the donuts were delicious. The staff member I exchanged messages with was also off the following day, but took the time to ensure they could fulfill my order. They were very responsive. I highly recommend...
