Arrived around 530pm and was able to find close street parking (free). A lot of people were already there with their dogs and kids, so all of the limited nine bench tables were filled up. They also had one long bench seating lined up on one side, close to the bench tables. Sitting there made it a little awkward to be in such close proximity to the people on the bench tables. Small Pole table trays were available too if you don't mind standing. There's plenty of open space, so hopefully in the future they can add more seating. It may be a good idea to bring your own seats and side table if you want to do extra work.
Four food trucks were lined up on one side: Rude Bwoys, Italian Ice, Gusty Peruano, and another one. There was a short line for Gusty Peruano. The pager they gave us notified us when the food was ready, took less than 15 minutes. Food was great, although expensive. The Smashburger was delicious, but the fries were on the softer side. Causa a la Limeña was good too.
We didn't get drinks since there was an extremely long line, but when we initially arrived, there was no line. So if that happens to you, take advantage of that while you can. The DJ was starting to set up right when we were leaving. There were some cornhole boards. Didn't see any bathrooms or porta potties.
Gusty Peruano made it worth it to visit, otherwise, not sure if I...
Read moreThis place is such a delightful and pleasant spot! I’ve had a blast here so far! I wanted to give a big shout-out to the owners for their awesome initiative and creativity in kicking off this project. I’m really rooting for them in their business adventures!
I popped in on the grand opening night, and as you can imagine, it was packed with people. There were a few lines for food and drinks, but the energy was super lively and fun. Kids and dogs were all over the place, which was a refreshing change from the usual crowded spots.
A DJ was spinning some fantastic tunes, creating a fantastic vibe. It was the perfect place to hang out with friends or meet new people. The space, with tables and benches close together, encouraged spontaneous conversations and connections.
The food was delicious, but since they opened early for lunch, the menu was a bit limited. I’m planning to come back later to check out more of what they have.
I hope they keep drawing in attention with exciting programs and yummy food. This place is definitely a happy and fun spot to unwind and let loose without any formalities or fancy dress shoes. I had a blast here and can’t...
Read moreAwesome new spot in the Brooklyn Arts District! Love the concept of rotating food trucks and getting to try something new with every visit. They have a bar serving beer and wine on site with plenty of options along with good looking gear. The setup is welcoming with a large open green space for dogs and kids to play, along with picnic tables and bench seating that’s shaded. Ideal for hanging out before a show at Live Oak with plenty of free street parking. There is also space to have live music. A DJ was playing when we visited this weekend, creating a fun atmosphere. Can’t...
