Extremely rude front desk staff. I haven’t been to a show here yet, but I have tickets. I called to ask a few questions about the layout of the theater because I personally have never been to a broadway show. My wife has always wanted to go to a play, so I wanted to try and get the best seats that were still available. We were very excited about this, so I’m rather sad and disappointed after this experience.

The man I spoke with on the phone seemed nice and was helpful. But once the call was over, he forgot to hang up the phone and proceeded to talk to his coworker about how I’m “some stoner guy” and started mocking my voice and personality, and talking about the time (they still had another 30 minutes until closing). I was going to say something, but I just hung up.

I called today to tell them about my experience but no one answered. I left a message, but then thought I should leave a review on here since he’s probably the one listening to voicemails and would just delete it before the right person hears it.

He needs to be held accountable and understand that mocking people and their intonation is incredibly rude, demeaning, and the behavior of a bully. FYI, I’ve never smoked or taken any kind of drug in my life. I don’t even drink.

This made me feel like I was back in middle school or high school. I guess people don’t really mature with age.

Do better,...

There are far too few concession employees and the parking situation is a fiasco. It's a shame that such wonderful shows are made less wonderful by the poor organization of this venue.

One problem is the ADA section. First....it's hard to order tickets online for people with disabilities. Then they stick you over on the far sides of the theater. While you might technically be "closer" to the stage....you miss almost all visuals on either side. Folks...these tickets aren't exactly cheap either. It would be nice to see more than 2/3 of the stage.

There are some fairly rude employees working there. I understand that working with the public can be awful...but people don't have to be downright nasty when they speak to people who are patrons of the venue that supports their paychecks.

Fortunately, the show itself was magnificent. The rest of the experience was entirely controlled by the venue, the staff, and the city personnel. Sadly, it left a very sour note on attending other events at this location.

This can be a wonderful town, full of wonderful people. I don't think this particular night was a good example of what our southern town is...

OMG!! I Totally must say" I had not been there before and do not know why I waited so long to" Grace that place, with my awesome Face". But mission accomplished and it was EXCELLENT. IF A PLACE HAS THE ABILITY TO CAPTURE MY ATTENTION , it has to be pretty gosh darn good. That by its self is not an easy task. Everyone that I came across that was affiliated with the Center was so happy, honest and helpful,, by the time I was ready to leave,,, they were like family. Me and one of the Door-people were conversating like we known each other for many Moons. But just met 10 minutes before that. Anyhow...........THE WILSON CENTER. IT GETS CRAZY ALS stamp of APPROVAL. VERY SPACIOUS AND UN CLAUSTROPHOBIC feeling for those of us that don't like sitting in closets. PTSD issues was NONE. Anxiety was lowered by the staffs interaction and I think they can spot somebody with...

Are you a lover of good live music? Have you ever wondered what an elevated (literally) theater experience would be like? Do red velvet seats sound alluring to you? Then this is the place for you! The Wilson center is an experience every time you go. With entertainment for all ages and a great place to support local arts, what more could you want? The shows here are excellent quality and the facilities are well kept. There is plenty of seating outside the theatre. A great place to wait for the show to start! There are concession stands and bathrooms on the first and second floors (I did not make it to the third). There are multiple staircases to get to the different floors. Please visit the Wilson center to support the local arts!

Absolutely amazing time at Joe Gatto tonight! The concessions were good (there is also one on the 2nd floor that's not as busy) and the souvineer cup is cute. If you're a local and know Croftons Pretzels they are also sold at the Wilson Center which is one more reason I'll be going to shows more often!!! The doors closed right at the beginning of the show which was nice. Sound was great and lighting was good. A really exceptional time! I can't wait for our next show! Sat in the balcony, the last possible row, for the Jazz concert and I must say even these seats were good seats! I'm not sure there is a bad seat in the house!

I attended the Herbie Hancock concert at the Wilson Center. Everything was well organized starting from the event parking to exit after the concert. EV charging was available and they had about 5 spaces for that. The staff were courteous, well dressed. The lobby is welcoming, they have a few snacks and drinks (got a souvenir cup) to offer while you wait for the doors to open. Inside the theatre, the seating was good and the acoustics were great. Overall a great experience, it was well worth it for me to drive from Raleigh for this one.
