Google is a bit misleading with these reviews. I must say the ratings will largely depend on why you are visiting. My husband and I attended a concert on the pier and I would love to give them a raving five star review. If you are visiting by boat or eating in one of the fantastic restaurants then you are in luck! If you are attending a concert on the pier then there are a few things you NEED to know before going. Going into the venue is not exactly a smooth process. It was very hot the evening we went and I truly worried about the folks checking us in. The girl putting our wristbands on was shaking and I don’t think it was nerves. Once inside I did like seeing all of the local vendors. I love supporting local and did purchase from multiple of them. The water/ beverage area was a hot mess. I have never seen something so disorganized. We got a few bottles of water and only two of them were cold. The rest were hot. A girl passed out in front of us and after getting an officer to come help I tried to go get more water for her. I stood in line for half an hour and the line didn’t move. All of the beverage tents were side by side and it was just a sea of people. I felt so bad for the folks working those tents. My husband got food from one of the food trucks and when he asked for water they said they weren’t allowed to sell it and you had to purchase water from the beverage tents. We finally gave up and decided to leave. We were so hot and thirsty that we went to a restaurant next door and had a small meal and LOTS of water. I hope someone in charge of the concerts here sees this review and rethinks their setup. It is such a lovely place and it’s a great concept but they definitely have a lot of work to do. Thankfully I did get to hear the band that I came to see since the restaurant is on the property.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Port City Marina. The cleanliness of the facilities, along with the new and modern shower and washing facilities, really stood out to me. The recently upgraded concrete docks were not only strong but also made me feel secure. The dock staff and management were incredibly warm and helpful, which made my experience even more enjoyable. This marina is a great choice for both transient and permanent boaters, providing all the amenities and assistance needed. Having the delightful Marina Grill nearby for dining was a real treat. And let's not forget how convenient it was to be just minutes away from the charming historic downtown area. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Special thanks to Lanier, Roman and Taylor!

Had a slip reserved 4-16-23. Arrived 11:45 am and started calling on vhf 16 multiple times for 30 minutes. Called office phone and it went to voice mail saying after hours. Another boat was having same issue. We both docked at fuel dock. No one there. I found the office. It was open but no one there. Kept trying to call on vhf for another 30 minutes. Nothing. I finally just picked a slip and docked. Later I found someone in the office and he wanted to argue he had been in the office all day. Their information packet was a hand written sticky note but failed to tell us how to access the restrooms after the office closed. ...
