Cook Out — Restaurant in Wilmington

I won't never go back there. I ordered chilli cheese fries, hush puppies and a few other things. They told me the total so it sounded a little high so I asked for a receipt and when I pulled off my hush puppies weren't in the bag after the lady claimed she just made sure everything was in there and the were busy so I had no were to lark to go to the window so I just had to pull in the middle of traffic. Then I looked at the receipt and seen they charged me 2 dollars for the fries then 80 cent for the cheese and 80 cent for the chilli so I went to the window and told them I didn't get my hush puppies and told them what they charged me for the fries and she said that's the price I said the board says they are 2.50 she said that's for a small I said I didn't ask for a large I just wanted a regular chilli cheese fry so she said theres not anything they can do now so they just gave me my hush puppies and I had to pay for something I didn't even order. I have only been here a few times and I know the food is good. Last week on Tuesday my mom wanted barbecue from cookout right after her dental procedure while she was still numb. The dentist removed the rest of her teeth so she can get her dentures in a few weeks. With this surgery they gave her Ativan to knock her out. When we pulled up to the window there was no other cars but us. It took my mom about 5 min to order because she was starving and high off the medication. When she finally placed her order, we pulled up and the cashier lady looked at us like we were rude and disrespectful. She rolled her eyes at me when I tried to explain what took her so long to order. She never said anything to us, but handed us our food and shut the window. I have never had such a rude experience with any company. I could understand if we were holding up a long line but there was no one. It was later in the evening on this hot summer night, well after dinner time, so my friend and I decided to cool off with a milkshake. All of the lines were very long. That’s not a complaint, by the way, it’s an observation. The lines are always long, because everything that Cook Out prepares is just delicious! Somehow they keep the lines going pretty fast, so the wait was just long enough to decide what you’re going to have. I already knew I wanted a shake, so now I needed time to decide what flavor. They really don’t mind if you customize your order so I asked for a banana chocolate shake. I waited till I got home so that it could soften just enough to drink it through a straw. I I have to say it was delicious and refreshing and I drank every bit of it, which is not easy to do. I’ve written reviews on their burgers before so this is just a short one about a beverage.
