I visited this Taco Bell today. I usually go to the drive thru but I had to use the restroom. When I walked into the restroom both stalls were occupied and someone else was standing there waiting. I waited outside in the dining area at the table for someone to come out. I waited for we'll over 5 minutes, but I'm not complaining about that.
Once I heard the air dryer blowing I figured one of the stalls should be open. I went back into the restroom, the stall was open, the other ladies were still in there about to walk out and I went into the available stall.
Meanwhile, in the other stall someone was still in there from before I went into the dining area to wait. While I was in the stall, I heard them leave the other stall but I was just finishing too and when I opened the door to come out of the stall it looked like an employee walking back out into the dining area as I could see the back of their uniform.
I wasn't 100% positive until I finished trying to dry my hands with the air dryer that was taking too long to dry. I had to come out of the bathroom with my hands still mostly wet because the dryer was kind of lame so I went to grab a few napkins out of the dining area. Not complaining about that either.
As I walked by the counter, I looked over and I could see that the same person who had just left the bathroom without washing their hands, standing behind the counter and it was clearly the same person. So she was in the bathroom for a very long time (perhaps #2? I didn't smell anything so maybe not) she didn't even wash her hands and she just walked right out of the bathroom and went straight to start taking people's orders. No one was in line.
I can tell by the way she looked at me that she knew, that I knew, she didn't wash her hands. I couldn't even give her complete eye contact as I was so embarrassed for her, let alone angry. I was supposed to be ordering when I came out of the bathroom but I just walked out after I grabbed those napkins.
I wanted to say something but that girl seemed like we would have probably ended up having a fight or something so I just decided, you know, let me just leave these people alone and I'll just put it online because I would want to know from someone else if I'm going into an establishment where employees don't wash their hands. I'm not saying all of them don't but I know this one didn't and she was at the front counter!
I don't even want to eat there or anywhere else I'm just going to cook at home frim now on this is just driving me insane.
I had to edit this comment as my phone is sensitive and I hit send before I finished editing what the text was transcribing from my voice. I hate having to give bad reviews and I usually don't give them at all if it's nothing too serious.
On the same token I give mostly 5 star reviews because I will go out of my way to praise good service and anything else good because I base a lot of my decisions on great reviews; bad ones too, since its a great way to find out what we need to know.
My apologies for judging this woman that she would fight me but I was too angry to address it without pissing anyone off.
Sorry Taco Bell...
Read moreShowed up to order food for my family of 7. We tried to use the app however it was not working so we had to order at the register. Since the app was not working we were told we couldn't do half our order which was online exclusives. So we sat there and figured out something else. Once ordered it took forever to receive our food. We took our food home only to discover that everything was wrong. We were missing multiple items, like at least 5 items. The items we received were all wrong. Even the items that weren't customized had ingredients on them that aren't normally on them. We were missing burritos and sides. Also everything was just thrown into one bag and we had to struggle to figure out what everyone's order was. We live 5 mins away and by the time we got home everything was already cold and soggy. Why didn't we take it all back you ask, well we were frustrated beyond belief, they acted like they didn't care when we were there so didn't want the fight and we were all starving. We have five kids and we settled for this meal bc a situation earlier caused dinner to be later than we wanted and we thought this would be a quick and easy alternative. We were very wrong. Returning just wasn't worth the struggle or making our kids wait even longer so we settled and ate what we had. Nobody enjoyed their meal. This was a horrible experience and to spend $50 on Taco Bell and get such crappy food and missing items just sucks. Other locations use boxes to separate the meals and have provided much better service and food so we will not be returning to this location and will make sure to go to another one going forward. Very disappointing dinner and...
Read moreWe were at Taco Bell a month ago since we found out that there was now an item that was gluten-free that our son could have. That experience was great and we dined in. The people that night were very nice.
However, last night we went back to get the Nachos Bell Grande again. The lady at the drive-thru said they no longer sell that item. So I asked if there was another gluten-free item that we could order in its place. She answered very abruptly, "how should I know?" I explained that my son had food allergies. But she just said she didn't know if it was anything gluten free or not. I waited for her to say that she was going to check with the manager. But she just asked if we were going to order. I again asked if she knew if there was anything gluten free. She again said she didn't know.
At that point, I was just frustrated and drove off. There was no one in line behind me, so I felt there was time for her to check with a manager. If there was a long line, I would have not expected her to go through the menu to check for gluten-free items. Then I go online today to the Taco Bell site, and find out the nachos bellgrande is actually still on the menu. So all of this could have been avoided if she had actually known what was on the menu. And the attitude was not...
