I ordered beef and broccoli chow mein, pork egg rolls, and crab rangoons. When I initially started eating it, I noticed a strong aftertaste of bad/old grease, but ignored it because of how hungry I was. This is on top of all of my food being chewy, overcooked, and cold. Afterwards, my boyfriend and I went to lay down and watch a movie and I heard him gagging over the edge of the bed. I asked him if he vomited and he said no, but that he almost did. This is a man who works construction and will eat anything, he doesn't have a sensitive stomach. I brushed it off, having totally forgotten about the food.
I just went to pull my leftovers out of the fridge to have a snack, and given that I was at the bottom of the container, I saw moisture. I figured "oh it's water from the broccoli or just extra soy sauce," etc. I didn't suspect anything. That is until I got a MOUTHFUL of grease. The one bright side is my hands are soft now from all of the grease dripping on my skin. The downside? We spent way too much money on Chinese food that tasted nasty, made us feel sick, and needed to be cooked in fresh oil. Never again...
Read moreThere must have been other employees and cooks when those leaving great or even good reviews for Golden Dragon, besides the man working the day we went in to this place, because the man was rude and the food was not worth the service or wait. We walked in, and the place was empty except for the one guy behind the counter. He didn't say a word of greeting after looking at us, even as we stood at the counter. We said hello, he asked what we wanted. Wow. Friendly? We still were friendly, because that is how we are, my husband and I, and our then 11 year old son. Not boisterous, just common courtesy. He made the meal up, came to the counter, told us the cost-all without looking at us or smiling, took the money, and gave us our change. No thank you for coming in, not one more word to us. Needless to say, we won't go back. There is no reason for such rude behavior, or for patrons to not be shown at least some appreciation for helping one to make a living. I was taught better. The food wasn't any better than a frozen...
Read moreNot good! Very disappointing! Did research to see who had good rating. I’m sorry, but I have no clue on why this place has a 4 star. It does not take like authentic/real Chinese food. They have the nasty yellow rice w no flavor. Fried rice is supposed to have onions and such. The sesame chicken is hard and stringy. I started choking on it and then threw it out. The sauce does not have enough honey/sweetness to it. The lunch vegetable …ewww. The sauce does not taste like a normal brown sauce. So blah and just taste bad
I do not like to complain but, I’ve been wanting Chinese for awhile now. And, I can’t even eat it. Wasted money. And I even drove alittle further to go there
So, I drove to Mcds to get a fry 😭
To be honest … one of the worst Chinese places I ever...
