Roosters — Restaurant in Wilmington

This was the slowest Roosters I have ever been to. The service was not very friendly either. I called to place my family on the waitlist as the sign said to. They were busy, it was a Sunday, the Bengals were playing. I asked to be placed on the waitlist and the girl that answered really needed phone skills. She asked party size and then sat the phone down and with an attitude asked her co-workers "can someone help these people, they have a party of five" I was shocked because she never said hold on or let me check after I her told my party size. No communication, just sat the phone down. I work in customer service so I didn't expect that. When we got the text to come in, we were not acknowledged. They just looked at us weird and proceeded to get all the money out of the cash register and lay it on the counter to count. I've never seen a restaurant do that, especially when busy. About 6 of them were standing there at the time. We stood there for 5 minutes without anyone saying even hello to us. Very unfriendly. Our waitress was nicer but didn't pay too much attention to refills and we ordered pretzels and didn't get them until we were almost done eating. The food did take a long time to come out. My family was starting to get impatient. I know it was busy but every other Roosters I have been to has been busy and has managed to bring food out a lot faster. I would take a trip to Washington CH next time and eat at that location even though it's...

I will call before 11 to place an order ahead of time. Well aware that roosters does not open till 11. So there for I am well aware that my order will not be made until after 11. My lunch time is at 11. So when I place that order a head of time it’s so that me and my co workers can get our food at a decent time before our lunch is over. Every single time I call to place an order before 11 again like I said well aware of the fact that you don’t open till 11 the girls answering the phone are always so rude because I’m calling ahead and placing an order. Like it’s a burden. I don’t have this issue with any other place in town that will take my order before 11 no issue what so ever. And there are only so many places to pick from in Wilmington. So When you get treated poorly it makes us not want to order from there. We like to order at least once a week. But if I have to continue to be talked to poorly then it won’t be a thing anymore. I work in customer service so I know first hand that a customer well aware of operating hours just calling in to have lunch at a decent time should not be an issue. I haven’t said anything I have just ignored it. But it’s been a contusion thing. When calling Buffalo Wild Wings BEFORE 11 it’s never an issue they are also a once a week place that we eat at. First, let me say that ALL Roosters that I have been to are awesome! I do not give five stars to anything easily. My family fell in love with Roosters chain almost immediately. But let me add on top of all that love for the chain EXTRA love for this location. Everything that I love at other Roosters is even better here! Even the one and only thing that had had and did not enjoy at another Roosters, was much improved here. In fact, I am seriously considering getting a larger portion of that dish next time. Two things, to be fair, that I didn't enjoy this time that I had enjoyed at every other Roosters- my drink seemed to be more watered down and my dumpster tots were cold. Now, I didn't start eating my tots when they first came out so that may be my fault. I ate a good portion of the other thing I ordered first. So I wouldn't go by that at all. But the drink thing is most likely their fault because it seems like they need to adjust their mix to more syrup. Also they have dine-in contrary to when Google Maps is saying.
