Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Wilmington

I ordered pizza from them for our family and my order was chicken bacon ranch pizza, when i got the pizza it wasnt even close to chicken abcon ranch it had spinach and other things no bacon no ranch anyways i called them about this the girl that answered the phone said they could give my money back or i can order another pizza she explained she needed to talk to someone else about it real quick and placed me on hold for about 2 mins and then tge manger got on and introduced herself and asked me if it was delivery take out you know whatever they ask when they answer the phone normally so i asked if they. Knew what i called about or if i needed to explain it again she then proceeded to tell me well we dont make chicken bacon ranch pizza and me and everyone else in the room because i had them on speaker was thinking the way her response and attitude was like to bad so i go on to say why didnt you guys tell me that when i ordered instrad of sending me whatever you wanted i then asked for a replacement personal pan pep pizza with extra sauce 1 hr later i finally get a pepperoni pizza with little to no sauce after she assured me my sauce would be on the side i dont normally leave google reveiws but I felt this one needed it i will never ever order from this place ever again i always get the wrong thing and this time i spoke up and i thought they would make it right they obviously don't care to make sure the customer is satisfied. Arrived about 9 pm this evening and found all lights turned off outside the restaurant looked closed. The door and internet clearly state open Sunday until 10:30PM. Went up to the door and found they were indeed open, we went inside and ordered our food. The staff member was friendly enough and we reminded him and another person in the back that the lights were off and we thought the restaurant was closed. The man behind the counter looked like he was a manager of some sort and acted as if he would fix the lighting issue. He did not. We received our order the food was good but the staff members were cleaning and moving chairs around. The floors were wet and the food storage or make tables were torn down for cleaning it seamed. The pizzas were piling up for drive thru on top of the counters not being kept warm while in the boxes. We were attended to but the main obvious goal of the staff was to close the restaurant. We left and as it turned out the manager or crew leader closed the doors and locked them before we could get in our car and closed the restaurant at 10:18 PM. My concern is that someone paid major money to purchase this franchise and with considerable risk. It seems a shame for staff to destroy a great place like Donatos just because they wanted to...

I had given up on Donatoes pizza for about a year due to the quality of their food and my wife and I decided to give it another try to see if anything had changed. First off, HORRIBLE IDEA. Both of our orders were wrong and didn't realize it until we got home, hence the reason for this review. Our order was a small pizza with cauliflower crust with mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage and extra cheese. The other one was the works personal pizza. My pizza was not even cauliflower crust which I paid extra for. It was 26 dollars for that and by the time I got home I just chalked it up and threw it in the trash deciding not to drive 25 minutes back to town to "trust" them to fix it! I will NEVER order from this Store again! Absolute horrible service to begin with, pulled right up to the window and made eye contact with the girl working the register and she left me there waiting for 5 min without asking me to hold. This used to be our weekly pizza joint for family pizza joint and I absolutely refuse to spend another dime there. Its completely ridiculous how this continues to happen .
