Hot Head Burritos — Restaurant in Wilmington

I placed an online order for pickup today, because I really just didn't feel like cooking lunch. It was a $40+ order, and really nothing too complicated. But when I picked up my order, I didn't bother to check to see if everything was neatly packaged, because it really should have been regardless. When I got home (20+ minute drive), my boyfriend and I unpacked our food. My bowl didn't have the lid on it all the way, his burrito wasn't fully wrapped, wasn't made correctly (missing two items, one of which cost an extra $2), it was loosely rolled, and just super wet. His side cup of green salsa had burst open and got all over everything in the bag. They only provided us maybe two napkins for the whole order we got for us and our kids, that were completely ruined from the salsa spilling everywhere. I'm not sure how busy it was this morning, but when I walked in, there were absolutely zero customers. The two employees that were there barely said a word to me. I get it, it's New Year's day and nobody wants to work on a holiday, but they really had time to not mess anything up. ...

Just visited the Wilmington,Ohio location at 8:40 pm(advertise that they close at 10pm.) Let's see where to start: -Neither white rice or brown rice was mixed with lime juice and cilantro. -Used the same spoon for each rice( not that big of a deal but an extra spoon isn't hard to wash.) -Meat portion was PATHETIC. Is one serving a level scoop? When I opened 6 different locations it was a heaping scoop. -Used his gloved hands for corn, tomatoes, banana peppers, cheese and lettuce. No utensils and didn't change his gloves. -Used a to-go black cup to scoop out and pour salsas. Cup had obviously been there for awhile because salsa was dried on the rim. -Used green handled tongs from veggies for the pork for my mom and I.

This is all while they were open for another hour and 20 minutes.

Wish we had gone to Chipotle. The kid was shorting us on toppings so they did not have to cook or prepare anything else for the night.

I love Hot Head, always have preferred it over Chipotle but this...

I went in this morning for the first time to get a bowl and oh my goodness, the food is amazing. Not only were the portions realistic for the price, but the food was absolutely wonderful and the friendliness of the guy behind the counter was like night and day compared to the other comparable option in town. Their competition lost my family and I due to poor customer service and poor quality food. Hot heads will definitely be our new go to for this type of food.
