I have ALWAYS enjoyed the Rusty Nail, in spite of the fact that the Jazz Jam relocated; they STILL have the Blues Jam on Tuesdays. However, on Saturday they had a Blues Band; "Southport Dan (?) & The Biz", and they were a VERY PLEASANT SURPRISE for me. I was JUST going by for one drink (and I held to that limitation: Thomas Jefferson and Honest Abe were my ONLY companions and I DON'T break my tip protocol), but the Band caused me to move from the Bar to the Bandstand. I chatted with two of them while they were on a "Whistle-wetting" break between sets, and one hour turned into a 2 1/2 hour ENJOYABLE STAY. The small crowd grew, and as they ALWAYS DO, they livened up the atmosphere. I'm ALWAYS made to feel welcomed, and invited to dance; on the latter I pass, but I sit and sing along while clapping and patting my feet. I left that night musically refreshed and ready to relax and sleep. I'm going to be watching their Calendar and posting alerts and notifications on my phone Calendar and house Calendars as well.    Read moreWhat a cool neighborhood bar this is! I went on a Sunday with my wife to meet some friends and the Rhythm Bones were setting up. We got there early so it wasn't crowded yet. It was our first time there so we didn't know about the Sunday tradition of bringing food so everyone can eat during the band's break, what a great idea!    Read morewonderful atmosphere definitely one of the best blues clubs that I've done in my life. Loved the patio! The bartender was Uber and the customers we're open for communication and very hospitable. Would highly recommend it to anybody in the world that's a Blues fan. Oh and including those people from northeastern Ohio who can't seem to get it together with respect to supporting the blues music scene wholeheartedly and that part of this great nation!?!....
