First off let me say this: the food is flavorful, hot and fresh, in addition you definitely get a generous portion of food for the price. But a few housekeeping items need to be addressed. Shall we begin? Okay, so my office called to place a lunch order at 11:00, we were told that our food would be ready in 25 minutes. I arrived to pick up the food @11:30. I assumed give or take a minimum of a 5-10 minute wait because our order was rather large (appx 5 people from the office ordered). The person behind the counter did not acknowledge me. To be fair, she was helping another customer prior to me. However, she just continued her conversation before she even offered to help me. I found this to be very rude, my order was at least $50-$60 worth of food...most places will greet every customer upon walking in to their establishment, I'm literally about to fork over money to you, the least you can do is have a sense of urgency to serve any patron who comes in to your restaurant, but here they acted like I was annoying them. My order was not even close to being ready. So I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my order, when we were told over the phone that the food would be ready in 25 minutes. Mind you, I only have an 1 hour lunch break, so essentially I wasted my entire break waiting for my food to be prepared. The person behind the counter did not speak English, which was frustrating to me because I wanted to make sure our order was correct, because of the language barrier she was irritated and rolled her eyes at me. So I think better customer service is certainly needed at this establishment. Again, the food was awesome and very fresh, but it's not worth the aggravation and rudeness. I more than likely...
Read moreWent in to order, was so happy to finally find Spanish food in Delaware, and the experience was horrible. not only did they try to convince me to order something other than what I had asked for(which was bacalao guisado) , when I asked for mofongo, since they didn’t seem like they were able to make bacalao (which is on the menu) they told me the guy who makes mofongo wasn’t there... that in itself should tell you a lot. Anyways, next issue I had was that the menu doesn’t show correct prices so when I went to pay they told me a higher price and didn’t tell me prices have changed until I complained about that. Next issue is when I finally got home with my bacalao guisado, it’s just dry bacalao with out any sauce, to top it off the fish was chewy. Needless to say but I will NEVER be giving this restaurant my money ever again. I’ll be looking for a new one. Guys look elsewhere this...
Read moreUsed to grab food from them when I lived closer but I moved to Newark. Called in to order some food and was given all the info on the platter and got placed on hold. I made it to the location and ordered there, then spoke with the owner about me being on hold for 24 minutes and she ain't even bother to give me no discount or anything. Never coming back.
