Unique Chinese & Japanese Cuisine — Restaurant in Wilmington

This little restaurant has some odd hours. Most of the time I've gone by them, they've never been open. A month ago or so, I walk by and they were advertising Boba tea. I was naturally over that there was a place in the hood selling it and I no longer had to go all the way to Christiana mall to get one. Today the stars were in alignment and the store was open. I walked in and ordered my favorite Taro Boba. Price was better than the three places at Christiana mall. I finally get it home and tried it out. One thing I've noticed about everywhere that makes these is that every one makes them differently. For me, Chiwa Bistro makes the best one, no contest. The one from Unique here has the most sugar. The tea tastes like sugar cookies and the boba are nice and chewy with a popcorn like taste. For a place in the hood making these, it's great to find a local restaurant that does it. This will fulfill any random boba cravings that's mere blocks...

I wish that Google allowed for there to be a place for zero star because that’s exactly how we feel about this restaurant. We have been customers for approximately three years and have never complained once even when we’ve been less than satisfied. Today we were sent spareribs that were extremely overcooked and burnt to the extent that it was blackened and tasted like shoe leather and we asked them to simply replace or take it off our receipt and the chef said that he’s not going to refund it and he’s not going to replace it’s how he cooks them. So now you’ve lost very good customers and to future clients I recommend that you never ever eat from this place because, the food here is burnt and disgusting and the customer service is...

This place has fantastic 👏 food!!! The General Tso chicken was super light and crispy, while being super meaty and moist. The Shrimp in the shrimp dish I ordered was perfectly cooked, de-veined, and sauced, and HUGE! Hot and sour soup was just right, and heavily soysauce flavored. The eel sushi was really yummy, and the Alaska rolls were too, but heavy on the rice, but i cannot fault them for that, as the prices were really good.
