We just finished our "date night" meal here and there are so many things, where to start. It's uncomfortable when you walk into a place & can tell its disorganized. There are alot of staff which you would expect for a Friday night at any popular restaurant. We did get seated right away which we thought was a plus. But the both we were seated at, at the entrance had nasty large amounts of food grapes, croutons, cheese crammed in between the back of the seat and the cushion. I sat near the edge. Our waitress who may have been new told us right away not to order the lasagna frita appetizer or wasn't good, which I thought was just an odd way to try to connect with us but not very professional. I ordered a glass of wine just a Pinot Grigio and being humorous and acted like a was speaking a foreign language. When she returned she was pouring a red wine and I said no what I ordered was a white wine. It seemed like she thought I was being difficult but I repeated it and she went back. At this point my husband said "let me know if you think we should just be done here" but I said I think she's just new. She came back and asked if this was right and it was but then she started to pour the wine into a filthy greasy smudged up glass and I touched it and she asked "is it dirty?" And I said yes it's filthy. So she left and we could see her trying to find a clean glass which I appreciated that this wasn't her fault. Then a team member came by more concerned with why there was a wine bottle on our table than the actual issue with the glass, and she came back and served me a full glass of wine & said the extra pour was free. It was an effort at least. Then came the salad I was handed a small saucer to put my salad on, at this point I was just going to see what else could happen. My hubby's spinach & artichoke dip looked like it had been reheated many times it was so dark & old on the top. From here on out everything our waitress said was short & curt. We ate our meal and when I asked for a to go box she flung it at me and kept on walking. Which didn't matter because the cheap old plastic to go box didn't even close so we just left it on the table. My hubby still gave an 11% tip but even he said this restaurant needs training in good customer skills, knowing the menu, and having class.

I came to olive garden at 5:50pm today is December 24th 2021 I didn't know what to expect as far as long waiting line or short line... But it's extremely packed (which is understandable considering it's Christmas eve ) the woman at the register asked for My phone number to text me when a table is available to sit. She said the wait time is 35 minutes.. I don't know if that waiting time is normal or not since this my first time at olive garden, so once I and my fiancé finally reached a table and ordered drinks one was mango strawberry iced tea it was extremely sweet like it had a lot of mango taste our food the wait time for the food we ordered, which was two different meals ( mine was shrimp scampi and my fiancé was chicken scampi ) it took olive garden so loooong to get us our food I started to fall asleep 'no disrespect towards company or staff'. I wish they was just a bit faster but either sacrifice speed with uncooked or overcooked food or long wait time with food cooked the right way. But quality of food was amazing definitely recommended to try olive garden in Wilson location I would of put 5 stars but issue is the duration of waiting in the lobby plus waiting when we got to our table... 4 stars till they figure out how to get food out to customers in a decent standard time without decreasing quality of food.

UPDATE 9/23/22 Hasn't gotten better since the below. Came on lunch break. Sat for about an hour while tables all around us were seated, served, and cashed out. All our dishes were from the lunch menu, so there shouldn't have been issues. Table wasn't completely clean when we got to it...we observed another table being cleaned and they didn't really clean around the kiosk. ORIGINAL Incredibly disappointing experience. Breadsticks didn't come until after entree, and only because we asked. Barely any soup in the bowls. My wife got the chicken and gnocchi soup, and the gnocchi was cold. Second bowl maybe had one piece of gnocchi and the same problem. Server explained something about restaurant policy with how the gnocchi are put in the soup...don't really care, because the end result is a bad customer experience. Wife asked for salad instead. Dirty salad plate. "Creamy" mushroom sauce is a joke and has no flavor. Kind of felt like we had to pull teeth for basic customer service to "make it right."

On August 17th my wife and I was the Olive Garden restaurant in Wilson North carolina for dinner. My wife and I we really did enjoy our dinner and Waitress was friendly as we had a nice conversation with her. The waitress That had served us was from Connecticut and she moved to Wilson. But, We had one problem with her and that was when we paid the bill for our food with a gift card and she came back and told us that the gift card had a zero balance on it. The gift card that we had given to her had $75 on it and we received the gift card from my neighbor as a gift. I asked the waiter to check again because there is $75 on this card and she came back and told us that she and the manager checked it and it still had a zero balance again. My wife and I couldn't believe it so, we wind up paying cash for the bill and also given her a tip for the service. When my wife and I Return back to our home in Wilson we had looked at our receipt for this card and notice that the card number was not the same as the one that she has given us back. I told my Neighbor about this situation and she was very upset about it and called up the gift card service about this situation. The gift card people were upset about it too and they issued her a brand new $75 gift card. Well my wife and I was talking with the waiter she was telling us that they are having problems with gift cards especially from daren company gift cards. I had check the gift card online and found out that this gift card that she has given back to me that there was a $14 balance left on the card on the same day that my wife and I ate at the restaurant. Also there was A charge on the card back in 2023 that was used in Greensburg North Carolina. I called up the restaurant in Wilson last week and ask for the manager but the person on the phone told me that the manager was busy and that they would be able to call me back but I did not receive any callback from a manager and I'm very pissed off about this whole situation. I just can't believe that this young lady who was originally from Connecticut and now lives in Wilson just scammed us with our gift card and now she made off like a fat cat with me given her cash for the food plus the tip and plus the $75 gift card that she kept. I have no problem eating at Olive Garden because I really do enjoy the food there but this waiter ripped us off and I just did not receive any phone call back from the manager. Beware anybody who goes to this restaurant that has a gift card make sure you take a picture of your card or you might get...

I wasn't going to write a negative review until this last experience with OG (this is one meal everyone). Let's call it CAN'T GET RIGHT, and at this point I don't care if it do! This is sad for a chain of this magnitude! I order the chicken carbonara, chicken gnocchi soup, kids meal spaghetti and as a side grapes, and a 1/2 doz bread sticks. I've never had a problem with this OG, so I didn't check my food through out. I get home and the grapes has mold on them, (hard bread sticks crunch like crackers) I called the restaurant and spoke to the mgr. I explain to her I lived in the county and wouldn't come back to Wilson today to just prepare another meal tomorrow for me. I wouldn't even let my (4 y/o eat the spaghetti). The next day when I left work I called so they could prepare my order again, and I return ALL the food I previously complained to them about, AND EVEN WHAT I DIDN'T. They prepared my meal, and again rushing out to do a few errands, and pick up my (4 y/o) I didn't look at my order through out. I get home and guess what shrimp in my chicken carbonara ( I'm allergic to shrimp) with crunchy bread sticks again. I'm really upset now!! I keep a level head and call the restaurant talk to a diff. mgr. than I spoke with on the previous day (Nikki was really nice). I told him at this point to return my money, he was very apologetic, and even put another lady mgr. on the phone. She quickly got me off the phone I'll return your money for the chicken carbonara. I went to OG the next day, and she then return my money and that's it I walked out. When I got in my car I said OK what just happen was she to busy, I been here a total of three times, the least she could have done was refund my whole order. $31++ I feel like I just got punk'd, I was told I would receive a OG gift card in my email, and never received that, and I did inform them of this. At this point since you don't care about me let me just not eat here anymore or refer customers to you anymore. Thanks OG this isn't what I expected from you, and the standards this company upholds! I WANT SHOW THE...
