I arrived at this Pizza Inn tonight around 6:40-7:10. My server's name was Audrey. She was unfortunately terrible. Firstly, she refilled my Dr. Pepper only twice. It also took a while for the first refill to arrive. I do think that I probably should have asked her for a refill earlier, but she was busy clearing off a couple of tables, and I did not want to bother her. Secondly, she only stopped by 4 times to check to see if everything was okay. As a server myself, I check on my guests quite frequently to make sure that they are all right. The reason that I do this is because I would want someone to check on me frequently to make sure that I am all right. I unfortunately did not receive this treatment. I was ignored most of the time. I do not want to brag, but, again, as a server, I would never treat any of my guests in this manner. If she was busy, I would have totally understood, as I have been incredibly busy before at my job as well, but it would have been nice to at least been notified so that I would not have to wonder where my server was. I did, however, leave her a $15 tip. After this, I went to go pay for my food. I had a to-go box with five pieces of cheese bread with me. At the cash register, I told the lady working there that I had a to-go box with me, and that I needed it to be weighed so that I could pay for it. However, it was quite noisy in the kitchen at this time, and when I said that I needed the box to be weighed, she misheard me and assumed that I said that I wanted the box to be thrown away. Firstly, why would I take a to-go box up to the cash register, just to have the cashier throw it away? That makes no sense at all. Secondly, after she accidentally threw my box away, all she said was, and I quote, "Oops, sorry." I do not think she was sorry at all. Also, she should have offered to get me another box with the cheese bread that I had inside it. I did not have a great experience...
Read moreI always loved this place and visited it for many years but recently I noticed that level of service and food got really law. Me and my hungry child were waiting for 10 minutes to be seated even if I saw many free tables all around and employees saw the line of waiting people. Waitress came not that fast (but was nice anyway). Half of the Pizza was cold and cheasbread I always loved got awful taste and was very cold. It was dirty in an area of the soups and I was waiting for a baked spaghetti another 10 minutes. They also didnt have clean bowls for salads and soups for a long while. At one point I got refill of sweet tea with no ice so I needed to stand up and found somebody to bring it to me(. I got a feeling that many people there just run around doing nothing. I also noticed that you have very little attention of waitresses during your meal but its increases closer to the tip time. Nobody took my plated from the table and I finally moved them to the farther age of the table. The bright spot of this place always was this older manager with gray hair I forgot the name of. When he is there everything goes perfect. But I didnt see him in a while . He is really great and an example of really good employee. Only because of him I put 3 stars not zero. Another good thing-their vegetable soup is the best in town. Absolutely hot and fresh. Salad bar is good too. I think that if this place will continue to show such a poor service we ll stop...
Read moreI eat at the Pizza Inn in Henderson quite often and I love the good there so I decided that I would try the one in Wilson. I won't be going back to that Pizza Inn. The spaghetti was good I will say that but the buffet was very very empty. I don't eat the pizza from he buffet because I do not eat mozzarella cheese so one of the reasons I eat Pizza Inn is to get a special pizza made well when I ordered my pizza ( cheddar only) the waitress said alrigt I'll go out that in. She comes back about 10 minutes later and says the manager said they couldn't do that because they can't put it on the buffet like that? Well the one in Henderson always makes it that way and puts it in the buffet and it always gets ate by somebody! So I asked her could they just make me a small pizza and they did. Let's just say they put barely any sauce or cheese on it and then on top of that they put some of that nasty imitation cheese that they have on the salad bar on top( the kind that doesn't melt!) The restaurant is nice and clean and he spaghetti was good but the dessert bar and pizza bar were almost empty and the manager just...
