I ordered from here i was craving chicken masala and nann did not realize we had an Indiana restaurant this is awsome I love it cant wait to try other dishes it was excellent.
8-16-25 I ordered the chicken masala again because the chicken Achari was super spicy for me even if it was mild really good flavor to. So I ordered the chicken masala again and this time it was different not sure if there was a diff cook today or what the chicken was really dried out and chewy and the sauce was watery and yellow not orange. I just hope this is not going to be a hit or miss one day its good next day its not. Ill still give them another try.
Sep 20, 2025 3rd time ordering and last I really wish I had better review. The chicken masala has been made differently again. every time ive ordered this dish it has not been made the same this time there were hairs in my food not one but 3 hairs looks like man's short hair. The sauce was not as thick as it was the very first time I ordered from them, this time I can see diff herbs were used because the last 2 times I ordered this dish you could not see herbs in it and last time i had it, it was a more creamier yellow texture and this time it was more of a soup based not creamy , there were big huge pieces of bell pepper last time there was carrots and bell peppers and it was cut smaller also the nann is so much better plane i didnt care for the garlic flavored nann. It also upset my stomach. I suggest for your cook to use the one recipe and not to change it or mix it up all the time and to use a hair net when cooking. Just make it the same...
Read moreMy honest opinion.
I think they are pricing out many potential customers. Ordered Tikka Masala, which for just the small bowl of sauce and a bowl of rice that wasn't enough for the amount of sauce provided they value at 16$. Adding chicken is an additional 2$. Which to me is pretty crazy valuation for just a bowl of sauce which I know is easy and cheap to make as I make this all the time at home. It was lacking the depth of flavor I've been searching for since my favorite "Hello Little India" closed their doors. I needed to add a lot of salt just to get the flavors to come out more and still didn't hit for me. Overall just over 3 stars low ends of 4 stars in my opinion. If I didn't order naan, I would have still been left hungry and I have a smaller stomach.
Since they are the only Indian restaurant in Wilsonville I think it will do well but not amazing. If they were to reduce their prices (or up the portion sizes) and do some better advertising they could be quite a hit.
I did very much enjoy the service and the atmosphere.
This is more of an occasional visit rather than a frequent one when I'm too lazy to make my own food at home. Obviously try it yourself and see what you think. It's...
Read moreGreat News! Zaiqa, an Indian/Pakistani restaurant, has come to Wilsonville in the former Indian Kitchen location. The menu is familiar to those who have been to Sultan’s Flaming Tandoor in Sherwood or Zaiqa in Portland’s SW Waterfront area. It’s a great menu that delivers a variety of dishes to satisfy everyone’s cravings. Our favorites are the Butter Masala with Chicken, Rajasthani Curry with Lamb and Aloo Gobi Masala. We look forward to returning and sampling all the other options.
Service is friendly and helpful. Everything was served with a smile. I will offer two suggestions for improvement. First, always make sure each dish arrives at the table with a serving spoon and Second, generally a meal consists of many different plates, bowls, and platters. When you see empty serving plates, remove them from the table immediately. Don’t let them stack up on the table. Don’t continue to bring more apps, entrees or sides until you have room to put them on the table. This makes the eating experience more enjoyable for the guest.
Wish Zaiqa the best of success! We will be...
