Great park with nice playground and jumping fountain for the kids to play in. Bathrooms with changing area located close to the fountain and another one right next to the playground. It has lots of picnic tables scattered around and has multiple covered picnic table/shelter areas as well. Nice sidewalk paths and trails for talking a walk. There are large grassy areas to enjoy as well, but not alot of flat open space which makes certain games difficult to play.Your hill rollers will love it though. The bonus of this park is the library is just across the street and Memorial park with lots of ball fields and river access is just up the road a very very short distance.
The one thing I really do not like about this park is that because the grassy areas are all hilly they block the view and there is no clear line of sight from the water fountains to the playground. This can be a bit challenging when you have one child who wants to be in the water and another who is more of a playground lover. This can make it difficult to easily supervise multiple children at once. All in all a great...
Read moreWe’ve been coming here very often ever since we discovered this splash pad! It’s perfect for kids of all ages and has tons of water areas for the kids to play in and benches all around for parents. There aren’t too many shaded areas so plan on bringing a hat and sunshades. The area is really well kept and clean. The only downside is it’s bordering a very busy 4 way street which they should have fenced off for some of the smaller kids that tend to wander off. There is also a covered picnic space that you can rent out for partners which is pretty spacious.
Parking is pretty close with a 4min walk to the splash area on the other side of grass, past the regular park. Also the other day we discovered the water in the splash pad turns off right at 8pm so plan accordingly if you’re thinking of going...
Read moreMurase Plaza Park is a great family friendly park. The park grounds and play areas are well maintained, side walks are very wide. For parties and gatherings, you can rent their picnic areas and the barn space. There's a playground for little and big kids (note: this year they added some new features like a new climbing dome and instruments). Over the summer, they have a water fountain, small water falls, and a small lazy river set up for kids to play in. The water features typically runs from June 1 through Labor Day, starting at 10am each day. There are also bathrooms near the playground and water fountain area. If you have dogs, there's a dog park - one for little dogs and one for big dogs about a less than a 10 minute walk from Murase. The dog park is closer to where the community...
