Okay I’m sorry but I’m a seafood lover Jaws open recently n my first visit today Friday 9/23/2022 first customer service was nice the place is nice it was an old gas station real close by the railroad tracks n heavy traffic of East Oakland park so b careful getting out of the facility.. the menu have about 100 items u can place an order from they have many choices of seafood steak n cheeses sandwiches drinks n desserts many many more.. not going to say they was slow it did take an while but it’s seafood..I ordered the red snapper dinner choice of whole r pieces up to 3 pieces of fish n fries one slice of bread no drink the fish didn’t have much of an taste you taste more of the dust Seasoning they use to season the food when taking the fish n other fried items out of the grease the fish was blah this order was just for an single person you can place family size orders and party size orders.. I also ordered the crab cake which was made of intimation crab meat the orange stringy crab meat.. conch fritters was these small circly burnt oily not cooked thru conch fritters the inside was brown as if it was beyond vegan meat taste didn’t see an conch in site seemed as it was imitation meat.. dessert was banana pudding ..all I’m going to say the name banana was the pudding with (4) vanilla wafers not an banana to taste just banana flavor from store bought banana pudding box..my daughter ordered an slurpee the machine wasn’t working so the lady offered me an lemonade drink instead guess they didn’t want to refund for the slurpee so I got the drink.. Also they charge you an extra fee to use ur debt r CC when I got to the window my total was $41.12 once she seen I was paying in cash it went to $39.05..I threw the crab cake away so didn’t get an picture and thru the rest away when I got home..another Hook’s r Snappers these quick frying seafood eateries r very expensive but giving you quick.. cheap..knocked off meat not my par..just my experience I went around 2ish this pm..hope this was...

The cashier at the front was nice and welcoming as I never been here and heard about this place from a friend so I decided to give it a try. The Catfish was awful 🤢🤮 I took it inside to let the lady at the front know and the cook came to the front and tried to tell me nothing was wrong with the fish. I told him it looked like it wasn’t cooked all the way or either it was frozen fish he told me that it wasn’t, snatched the plate out the cashiers hand folded it up and threw it in the trash, so the cashier told me she would give me my refund and then The came back out and tried to say that I ate one of the catfish so she could only give me a refund for one. I had two catfish and I ate a piece of one how was I supposed to know that was nasty. Until I tried it so there was still one catfish and over half of the other one. The cook was definitely rude and acted like a child. He threw a temper tantrum because my food was nasty. I should have been the one with the temper tantrum not him. I definitely wouldn’t...

I’m not a reviewer but my experience with was so excellent I had to share. I can’t understand how there isn’t a line around the block for the food here. I’m from NY and have spent the last 12 years in DC. I’ve found that quality food and service is not as accessible here in Florida. This is hands down the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. The quality and freshness of the chicken are obvious. The value is unreal. 10.99 for a chicken sandwich extra chicken tender and generous portion of fries and a drink. That serving size and quality would easily be $25-$30 in NY or DC. Bring cash to tip, the service is so friendly. Special shout out to the gentleman with braids who assisted me today, he made sure the experience was unforgettable and prepared the meal with love. Small place and very clean.
