Capriotti's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Winchester

Really hate to complain about a place but I gave this location 2 chances. Our company usually likes to order locally every Saturday for lunch. Wether we order sandwiches, pizza, Chinese, it usually does not matter. We thought we would give Capriotti’s another chance. This time we placed our weekly order and it totaled around $85.00. Placed the order around 10:30 and said I would like to pick up around 11:30. Showed up around 11:15 to pre-pay and was immediately greeted by I assume was your manager and was told “we cannot break that!” . I said what? We cannot break that bill! OK...so what do I do? Whatever she said and continued to greet a police officer behind me. “Oh hi Larry, what can we do for you?” My major complaints are, #1, not greeting for me. #2 What can we do for you? #3 Is there another way you can pay...we do not have change right now. Instead, I went next door to the dollar store and bought $10 worth of chips to break my $100 bill. I then came back, was greeted by a very nice girl, and picked up my order. Too bad...if the first one greeted me properly they would have had a $15.00 tip, I still left $5.00. I am of Asian decent, I would really hate to bring that up! Sandwiches are okay.

Unfortunately I've been spoiled by Sprouts Farmers Market were I get to choose two different meats and between 4 different cheese's with avocado & Bacon. I usually choose roast beef and turkey with havarti cheese for under $7.50 and Claro's Italian Market where I get to choose up to three different meats and a about 9 or 12 different cheeses. I usually choose roast beef Italian turkey and tomato basil ham with havarti cheese. Claro's large sandwich for only $ 7.99. Best deal that I've been able to find on custom made sandwiches. They call it a 12 inch large sandwich but it's usually always larger than 12 inches. I've been eating at Claro's Italian Market for year's. In addition Claro's offer's Great Pizza slice's at most of their Market's. Sprouts is my New goto for custom sandwiches. Only because I don't live near a Claro's Italian...

My family comes here often. This was by far the WORST experience. It took 30 minutes for three sandwiches. Now I checked one sandwich in the store because 99.9% of the time it gets made wrong. It was correct this time. I ordered a Capistrami with xt dressing and slaw. That sandwiches only had meat on HALF the sandwhich! The other sandwhich I ordered was a cheese stake no mushrooms I didn't even get that sandwhich! I was given another Capistrami with only dressing and meat. I have tried calling the location 5 times since getting home but they refuse to answer the phone.
