Don't bother wasting your money! I recently ordered food from Coco's Restaurant in Vegas cos I visited with a friend, and it was a total disaster! We searched online for an African restaurant near our hotel, Sahara Resort, and Coco's popped up. We ordered a bunch of dishes - plantain fufu with Oha soup, suya, fish, beans and plantain, plus vegetable soup. I swear down, it was the worst food I've ever had! The suya was like chewing on rocks - the meat was ridiculously hard just like stones. The vegetable soup was ridiculously watery and came bare without any meat or fish, and they had the nerve to charge us $20 for the empty vegetable soup! I'd give the fish and plantain 5 out of 10, and the Oha soup 5.5 out of 10. The Suya minus 5 out 10 and the vegetable soup 0 outa 10. But overall, the food was trash! I called the restaurant to complain, and the lady said she'd inform the owner, who would call me back. But of course, they never did. I gave them 24 hours to make things right, but they ignored me. So let this be a warning to everyone - don't waste your hard-earned cash at Coco's Restaurant Las Vegas! We paid $122 for that entire garbage, and I ended up throwing away 60% of the food. I'll never order from them ever again and I don’t recommend Coco’s restaurant Vegas.

It was great and delicious. I enjoyed meeting the lady in Vegas…. The only concern I had with the dish is that it tasted rushed. Recommending a more consistency with all parts of the dish especially the goat meat/beef.

Great African Cuisine. Can't ask for anything better. Nkwobi and Oha soup are my favorites. Will highly recommend this to anyone looking to try out an African dish that is mouth watering at an affordable price.

This restaurant should not exist at all, I was on a vacation in Vegas, and the moment I came in town, I decided to check if there's an African Restaurant on doordash, and bang this restaurant pop up without me looking at the review, I placed an order for a 2 jollof rice, 1 for rounded and egunsi, and a plate of pepper soup , spending over 116$, jollof rice doesn't even taste like a restaurant jollof rice, the moment I ordered on doordash, I realized they didn't ask me for the option of protein on my food, I called the restaurant and a guy picked up, and after I explained the situation he got my order and told me I ordered 2 sides of jollof rice and it doesn't come with meat, at the end of the call, he said I will throw some goat meat in there buddy and dude hung up, I got my order and it was a mess, the pounded yam doesn't even taste like pounded yam, either flower or pounded, the egunsi was all white , no sign of vegetable what so ever in it, I manage to eat the pounded yam but trust me, I had food poisoning for the first 3 days of my vacation, I tried leaving feedback on doordash but for whatever reason it didn't let me ,saying I can't get refund. But am not talking about refund but the quality of the service here, Talk about the pepper soup, I don't even know what to describe it with , I couldn't eat it at all. All ended in the trash, this restaurant is nothing to write home about, I ended up spending over 600$ at Calabash African Kitchen, mennnnn, the customer service was good, quality of food was 💯. Cocos restaurant, you guys are not representing African restaurants well at all.

The owner responded to my review talking about i ordered side of Jollof rice does not come with protein, I did not order side of Jollof Rice, I ordered 2 plates of Jollof rice, and i paid 30$ each, so both rice i paid 60$, is your side of Jollof rice 60$? what about the fact that your food gave me food poison???? did you read about that in in my review? why not address that part?

Why not allow me to reply to your response? why do i only have one option to delete my review?? this is so unfair and you are just selling rubbish to your customers, especially those that are not from Africa, who dont even know what it looks or taste like.

I am trying to upload the receipt for my order but for some reasons wont let me.

JUST CHANGE THE QUALITY OF FOOD YOU ARE COOKING FOR PEOPLE TO EAT TO THE BEST. when people order from the restaurants its not that they cant cook at home, they sometimes just want a better taste than what they are use to.

if you get a chance to read my review before eating here, please don't go there if you don't want to damage...

We ordered for an alumni retreat in Vegas for 15 people. The order was jollof, beans, plantain, chicken, fish to be prepackaged and ready to serve for 15 people. What we got was not decent, jollof with no taste of jollof, beans not fully cooked, chicken was mostly back and few thighs, missing breast and other parts and fried dry. Fish was mostly head and not in stew. Plantain was worst, nothing like the pictures. It was hard and looks like unripe plantain. All beans we had to throw in the trash. I did complain to the owner and she took my message as me trying to shut her business down but I told her, she needs to read my comment and use it to improve her business. All 15 of us came from various states for our high school retreat and needed a good meal for the night but was utterly disappointed especially paying as much as we did. Again Coco needs to improve and I will still come by next time am in Vegas to see what improvements you've made and then give another review but for now this isn't a true representation of...
