My wife and I came in at 7:42pm and one of the women who was on the grill gave us a huge attitude. She was slamming utensils down when we walked in. I asked the woman at the counter if the woman at the grill wanted us to leave. The woman at the counter said something to that woman and she nodded her head. Then the woman at the counter said “yes.” I was completely floored. We have eaten at so many restaurants in and out of the US. We’ve never been asked to leave because we came in 17 minutes before closing. I then asked the woman at the counter if she was the manager and she said no. I asked to speak to the manager. I told the manager my experience with the woman slamming the utensils at the grill and all she said was they close at 8 and that’s why she’s upset. She said they stop taking orders at 7:45. So miraculously I was floored twice in a span of 5 minutes. That is the worst customer service I’ve experienced in my entire life. Never go to this place. I don’t know if this review is time stamped but it’s currently 7:52. We got to the store in time for that whole scene to go down and me to write this review and it’s still not 8:00. I told the manager I was going to give them 1 star and write about my experience and she said that was fine. Also one more thing, there was food on the grill so it’s not like they were cleaning up when we came in. Just adds more...
Read moreI called to place an order at 7:30 and a girl answered the phone telling me that they closed at 8:00 and were no longer taking phone orders anymore. Understandable, I suppose; in the event someone showed up late to pick up an order at that point. I figured I would drive over to place the order in-person. With twenty minutes to spare, the girl asked if I had phoned-in an order, as there were some on the counter. I said I had not, and asked if I could have a wrap. She took a look at the owner, telling her of my request, and the owner said “No,” and walked away to the back room. The young employee said she was sorry, to which I responded that “she” would be sorry (meaning her boss). I worked as a sandwich clerk for years as a teenager and even if we put away condiments and toppings, if someone came in twenty minutes before we closed, they would get a sandwich. There is still plenty of time for that. To make matters worse, i saw a couple go in and sit down at a table inside after I was denied service. I ordered take-out at another restaurant nearby, and when I went by Eleni again at 8:10, they were still seated inside. I find this...
Read moreWow! Fantastic Greek food! Love the Mousaka. The presentation is spot on. The restaurant is mostly a takeout location. Elani's passion for cooking and customer service is 2nd to none. The desserts are outstanding. Try the walnut cake as it melts in your mouth. There are 5 little tables here if you want to eat in. The Mousaka came with salad and potatoes. I added a bottle of sparkling water for a cost of $19. Someone asked for Gluten Free something and they said no issue most of our meats are without any gluten. Today I had a nice piece of the spanakopita and it was crispy crust with wonderful flavor inside. This is the best I have...
