Giovanni's Pizza — Restaurant in Winchester

$13.95 per person for the lunch buffet. We felt this fell flat as the soda in the Ale 8 machine.

The salad bar was a solid 5! The ice is that awesome ice. The bathroom smelled clean and looked clean.

The spaghetti sauce wasn't to our liking. The pasta soup was sweet and more like a sweet pizza sauce with small lasagne noodles, not a soup.

The biggest disappointment is they had no cheese pizza during our visit. I'm talking no sauce and cheese pizza. Cheese on pizza crust without sauce is cheesy bread. Honestly, for the cost of 2 buffets we would have done better with just a large cheese pizza.

The baked spaghetti was meh. The butter bread abysmal. The garlic toast was good. What they did well, they did well- what they didn't do well was a fail.

I'm not sure what the tips please was for as we literally served ourselves, bussed our table and then had to swipe to pay. This seemed like greed. If Simeon was to even give me a refill I could see asking for a tip- but nah cant see tipping for someone...

Ordered a super sub with chips, pizza bread, and salad for pick up. Sent my daughter to pick it up...she came home with only a salad with hardly any lettuce and 6 cups of dressing. She went back for the subs. The pizza bread sub had no cheese, very little pizza sauce and was barely warm. The super sub only had ham, cheese, lettuce and also barely warm. It was missing all of the other topping that were supposed to be on the super sub. Still never got any chips that were ordered. We had been out doing yard work all day and looking forward to some good Giovannis sandwiches. Needless to say, this was $30 wasted. Had to make 2 trips, and yet this food was terrible. Usually, we love Giovannis. But after this, I probably will not be going back there for...

Been to other Giovanni's and the Winchester location was by far the worst. Went on a Saturday for lunch and the place was not busy. Pizza was cold and old, had been out for awhile. Lettuce was old on salad bar. No service at all, just a note to seat yourself. Ordered a steak sandwich and sent it back. Did not get anything else. It was hot but the meat was NOTsteak, some kind of pressed meat shape. Terrible!!! My wife and mother ate the buffet but it was not good. Paid $27 for cold pizza. Bathrooms were dirty with no paper towels and hand dryer did not work. When voiced issues with guy at register he did not care. Not even an apology. Will never return. Do not go to...
