This is my husband's favorite fast food place to get chicken sandwiches. We went inside and ordered 5 chicken sandwiches & a large curly fry. We waited+ at least 15 min for food. While my husband waited inside for the food I walked to the Smith's behind Jack in the Box. I was in line at the store at least 5 min. I then walked back to Jack in the Box where my husband was STILL WAITING for the food! Finally, he came out with the food & he was upset that the large curly fry was barely half full. He hates complaining but wanted it fixed so I went in. I explained to the cashier that the fries were barely half full & while I'm holding this bag of food I noticed that it didn't feel hot. I said if I'm waiting over 15 min for food one would assume its due to making fresh food to fill the order but it didn't feel even very warm. She asked if I want it re-heated. I was like, as in thrown in the microwave?! She mentions reheating like 3 times but I said no, the sandwiches have mayo on them, I don't want it nuked. She asked me what I want then.
I want them to be how they're supposed to be!
The Mgr.comes to me after I hear the girl from register explain my complaint. She says the chicken sandwiches were just made. She fills the fries & gives food back. I bring right out. It's been under 5 min since food's been given to us. The 90° weather sure didn't cool the food off. We tried each sandwich, thinking some were fresh n others were made already which still isn't the coolest cuz already made sandwiches that sit 15 min waiting for fresh sandwiches to fill the order sure makes for the old sandwiches to taste extra old. But they all tasted the same. The edge of bun & patty were hard...like they'd been microwaved. Things that get heated in microwave do not stay hot long at all. Which explains the temp.
Both my husband & I went in the 3rd time (2nd time going into complain). He said sandwiches were not good. He said the fries were great. They're fresh. The mgr. walks up & said something. We said we didn't hear what was said or what she was going to do but that only got us add'l silence. Her irritation w/ us was quite apparent. Only other words she said to us was asking how we paid. And told us to swipe r card. She removed the chicken sandwiches. She offered nothing add'l. She gave us no receipt. We came to the Jack in the Box on Maryland and Sahara on Tuesday, May 11th around 12:45 p.m. My transaction ID for my Amex card: IAYVUZD918 for $12.07. We were very nice, especially my husband who thanked her still when she returned the food & she never apologized or even said you're welcome to his thank you. She was rude. Read moreDo not stop by when they are changing shifts, they are not organize and technically close the store to do so. I just did a mobile order we arrived at the drive thru a few minutes before 10pm an employee told us that he had to close his drawer but to please park at front and wait 10 - 15mins and they will bring the food to us. We notice 3 employees getting and there was no one in front of us so we agree. We parked and waited while we waited multiple cars waited at the drive thru and then left tire of waiting with no response. (We waited... well because it was a mobil order and they told us to wait because they already have our order and credit card information.) Then a white van and someone had the decency to let him know they where not taking orders because there was an issue with the computer (in Spanish) 16mins passed by and we notice 1 employee leaving, then another one and another one. Finally around 10:25 they star taking orders and no food for us, so we go back to the line, we tell the person that we place an order online and told us to park at front for 10-15mins and we still haven't received our food. The person respond to us rudely that she has just arrived and that she didn't know anything. So we asked to talk to a manager and she responded "I am the manager, I just got here," and she told us to go to the next window. When we got the next window we asked about what happen, why did they make us wait to what she replied do you want or I can just refund your money. She never apologized she just wanted us out of there and make it look like we were on the wrong. Awful service...
