The Island Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Winchester

My girlfriend and I visit Vegas a few times a year and every time we go we make sure to visit at least one or two local bars. I can tell you hands down, this is one of the best local bars we've ever visited not only in Vegas, but anywhere. They had some of the best drink specials that you'll find anywhere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and all the locals were outgoing and even taught us how to play Keno.

So many good reviews its unfortunate I was treated so poorly. I called to place a pizza order for pick up. I was told they dont take over the phone orders & I had to come it. No big deal, Ill happily do that. However, when I began to ask questions to the employee answering the phone (such as what is the turn around time for a pizza) I was hung up on. Pretty rude as far as I am concerned. & my subsequent phone calls went unanswered. I was 100% willing to come in, place my pizza order & gamble til it was ready. We love this pace! It's a no-frills, smokey neighborhood bar with great prices and friendly staff. Juan is always coming up with something new to try from back in the kitchen. Beyond that, the menu has your standard bar offerings, as well as some interesting and fun hot dog selections and killer street tacos.
