You know, I HATE writing reviews like this, but I have to be very honest in my feedback. Iâm simply writing about MY EXPERIENCE and my experience ONLY. As a Latino myself, I donât want speak negatively about a Latino business but, I have to be truthful and canât allow the fact that Iâm Latino to sway me to a great review just to help the business thrive. I own a business and itâs all about the customer service experience. The customer MUST LEAVE HAPPY so that they return as a repeat customer.
In all fairness, I must disclose that I did visit the nightclub on a Sunday night. I didnât anticipate a large crowd because people work on Monday, however, the cocktail waitress said, âPeople donât start arriving til midnight!â Guess what? They didnât.
The Good: The staff, I must say, were amazing. Very friendly and polite.
The Bad: Well, I didnât like the $20 cover charge for men and $10 for women. It just was overpriced. The âbottle serviceâ was north of $450. Definitely NOT WORTH IT. The drinks were outrageously priced and came in a cup similar to those you find next to a water bubbler. Small plastic cups, filled with ice. I paid like $6 or $7 for a âKirkland Signatureâ water bottle from Costco. I mean, that was awful. They had a door from the back room to the main bar cover with a towel instead of an actual door. The bathroom looked very fatigued and worn down. I HATE HATE HATE that as I was using the urinal, I looked over my left shoulder and saw the women dancing on the floor. Which means, if I could see them, they can see me. Likewise, the womenâs bathroom was WIDE OPEN and men could easily look inside the womenâs bathroom without much effort. That is a serious privacy matter. The DJ was not good at all. Never engaged the crowd despite having a microphone. The microphone is the most important tool, after the music, as a DJ. It can get the crowd going. The aesthetics were in need of a quick rehab. The dance floor was even small. There is no food service whatsoever which I believe is a huge missed opportunity because me and my group were hungry.
So, overall. I would visit the nightclub again? That would be an emphatic NO. It was truly a disappointment. I hope management sees the review as a way to improve the business model and not interpret the review as me trying to harm their business. I reviewed a Latino restaurant in Tennessee and the owner threw a tantrum on my review and guess what, EVERYONE SAW IT and she portrayed herself in a negative light. So, I supported the venue and hope...
Read moreLast night at La Jolla wasnât just a good timeâit was next level unforgettable. I came out with my boys looking for a fun night, but what we got was easily one of the best nights of our lives.
The second we walked through the doors, the vibe hit. Itâs a Spanish nightclub, and they absolutely deliver. The DJ had the place on fireânonstop heat from start to finish. Reggaeton, salsa, bachata, dembowâit was like the entire night was tailored to pure movement. No lulls, no filler, just back-to-back bangers. The crowd was electric, and the energy was contagious.
Letâs talk drinksâbecause wow. These werenât your average club drinks. Every cocktail was strong, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. The bartenders were quick, friendly, and clearly knew their craft. You could taste the quality in every sip.
And the hookah? Smooth, clean, and on point the entire night. Great flavors, perfect burn, and staff that actually cared about maintaining it. We werenât just vibingâwe were floating.
But what really took it over the top was our VIP host, Vlad. This man is a true professional. From the second we booked the section, he made sure everything was locked in. He handled every detail, checked in without being overbearing, and made sure we were having the best possible time. If you want your night to go perfectlyâVlad is the guy you need to know. Calm, collected, and elite at what he does.
The rest of the staff? Same vibeârespectful, welcoming, and always moving with purpose. Security was tight but friendly, bottle service was spot-on, and the overall service was just chefâs kiss. You could tell this place runs like a well-oiled machine.
Iâve partied in Vegas, L.A., Miamiâbut La Jolla hits different. Itâs the perfect mix of class, culture, and high-energy fun. We came in looking for a night outâwe left with a core memory.
To the owners and staff: thank you for creating something so special. And to Vladâyouâre the MVP of the night.
Weâll definitely be backâand bringing more people with us next time.

Read moreA group of 8 of us decided to check out La Jolla Nightclub for a guys night out. We usually hit Señor Frogs (RIP đą), but since itâs no longer around, we wanted something off the Strip that still had a fun vibe â and La Jolla definitely delivered.
We showed up a bit early and the place was still empty, but it looked spacious and the music was already decent. The security guard did the usual Vegas bouncer thing â laying out a long list of rules like no hats, no sports gear, and (oddly enough) no chewing gum. Never heard that one before, but hey⊠it ducks to scrape gum of the floor.
As the night picked up, so did the crowd â fast. The club got super packed, almost too tight to move, but it made for a lively, high-energy environment. Great mix of people and the vibe was legit fun.
We grabbed a VIP table (really just a small raised corner area) by getting two buckets of beer â about 30 beers each for $140 a bucket. Not bad at all for Vegas. Also ordered a hookah for $60. Service was on point and the staff were friendly and attentive.
Another group (an office party of older folks) got sat right next to us in VIP. They were super chill, but I could see how a different group might kill the vibe â VIP seating is pretty tight and shared.
đ Music? On point all night. đ» Drinks? Reasonably priced for Vegas. đ Crowd? Local, diverse, and down to party. đœ Bathrooms? Always a line. đș Space? Not much â prepare to get cozy.
If youâre looking for a night out off the Strip and want to see how the locals party, La Jolla is worth checking out. Itâs not perfect, but itâs got great energy and way better value than most...
