Mi Ranchito Restaurant SF Flamingo Rd — Restaurant in Winchester

Conveniently located off the strip and across from Tuscany suites. We made reservations initially for 8 but later changed to 12. We arrived and table was only set for the initial 8, luckily we arrived early so that mistake was rectified. Having a large group, we asked for separate checks in pairs/couples, but were told they could only separate into 3 checks of 4. ??? That didn't make sense... ?? The food tasted good, salsa had a nice spice to it, horchata was not too sweet. We ordered fajita for 2... plate arrived and tasted great but only included 2 tortillas. I asked if there was a mistake and were more included in the order, considering it was a meal for 2... only 2 tortillas meant only 1 for each. We ended up ordering another order of tortillas at $4... for 2 tortillas. That felt like the business just wanted to take advantage of our need for more tortillas since they never gave us enough initially. Food was good, business...

This restaurant is 10 mins east of the LV Strip, near our house and we brought our whole family tonight for the first time and we all really loved it. The seafood- focused menu had plenty of non seafood choices however the shrimp tacos, enchiladas and grilled marlin tacos with chipotle cream sauce were absolutly spectacular, particularly considering that two in our party are very picky and don't like spicy dishes. The food was authentic, delicious and served surprisingly quickly. The three servers we had were all super nice, checked on us often and were very kind and patient with our complicated orders. There was a terrific traditional Mexican band with fantastic singers and a horn section! The beautifully decorated handmade furnishings also made this friendly restaurant feel lively yet clean and comfortable (bathrooms were also spotless). For those who left bad reviews… get a life!!! anyway the food you consumed is going to end up in the toilet!!! This place is amazing!! Give the new owner the benefit of the doubt, they just opened the restaurant recently if you don’t know it takes a village to open a freaking restaurant. “ too spicy” for you?? Don’t go to a Mexican restaurant. “ bad service “? People think servers became servants when you come in? Just be great full they’re serving your food, you don’t have to expect them kissing your hand after every demand from you!! Food is great! Service is amazing! And the ambiance is to die for! Please be respectful of a hard working people trying to have a successful business!!
