I’ve been going to Starbucks for over 10 years, perfect for traveling and home… loyal customer here let’s get that straight. I’m not able to have sugar (diabetic) and not once have I had any issues in all these years with exception of my last visit before today (today visit is the reason for review). Sugar was put in my coffee, I'm always asked if I want sweetener and I always say “ no ty im sweet enough” lol. Well, when I went today when asked if I wanted sweetener I said no and said what happened last time and please let place know because someone including me could get hurt/sick. once i pulled up to the window I paid then she handed my drink then she said if I don't say no sugar i automatically get it. Her tone seemed like she was annoyed, frustrated and couldn’t be bothered with and all I wanted to do is have your company aware what happened...that’s it! I said 3 times that I have not once in over 10 had this problem and last time was the first and only time. I don’t eat sugar so when I took a sip it tasted like a candy bar and I was immediately scared for my safety. It could have been very simple, I let you know what happened, have your employee apologize “sincerely”, ensure my concern will be forwarded and that's it. But, no I was made felt like I was a nuisance… I said fn forget it, you just don’t get it. Yes I said fn once as I pulled away with my car and apologize (not during convo) but I literally got nowhere over something that could have been simple and also made me feel horrible and sick to my stomach with the lack of concern. I’m not putting this review because sugar was put in my coffee I’m putting this in because of my experience of getting my coffee today trying to let them know what happened last time with sugar in my coffee. Anyway, I’m just changing the location of where I go. NO need for follow-up I’m over it but now you have a negative review for this location because of my negative...

Came in today to buy a cortado. my stomach was not agreeing with me and i needed to use the bathroom for quite a long time.
After a period of time from 10-15 min, i was interrupted by a starbucks employee for being in the restroom for too long. I felt embarrassed and unwelcomed by this establishment.
I went to the counter and asked whether or not it was a policy that i needed to purchase something or they were profiling me as a vagrant or an unwelcomed customer. I was informed that there is a "timer" policy and customers arent allowed in the bathroom for more than 10 min. I believed her credibility and authority.
She said "i apologized for interrupting you," but she never did when i was still in the bathroom. neither did she apologize to my face when i politely asked for one. The barista spoke to me like i was causing problems when i wanted reasoning and consideration.
afterwards, i searched online for a "timer policy" with starbucks and found this gem from google.
not only was i disrespected, embarrassed, and rushed. but i was also lied to. if i needed to purchase something before, i would have done that beforehand.

Read moreSo what does fat actually do for you? It's a major fuel source for your body (meaning it provides a lot of calories) and also the main way you store energy. You need fat to help you absorb certain nutrients, such as fat-soluble vitamins (vitamins A, D, E and K) and antioxidants (like lycopene and beta-carotene). Fat is important in giving your cells structure. Omega-3 fats, a type of unsaturated fat, are important for optimum nerve, brain and heart function. One type of fat you don’t need? Trans fats, an artificial kind of fat found in partially hydrogenated oils.
And by the way, eating fat won’t necessarily make you fat. Although it does have more calories per gram than carbohydrate and protein, fat makes food more flavorful and satiating, which may mean that you don’t need as much to...
