Whip X Banh Mi ( Maryland Filipino Town) — Restaurant in Winchester

Whip X Bánh Mì is sharing the space right next door to the Filipino Market and Buffet, Kusina Ni Lorraine. I found out about it while enjoying lunch buffet that it's a separate stand-alone café in its soft-opening phase. They offer fresh made modern Vietnamese coffee, sugarcane juice, coconut water, and Bánh Mì.

I ordered the Matcha Sugarcane ($6.49), which was refreshingly delicious, lightly sweet, and balanced, even though I'm not usually a matcha fan, this was a pleasant surprise.

Super attentive, friendly service, and so patience with all my questions about their drinks since it's still in soft opening phase. Don't let the strip mall exterior fool you, check them out!

Location perks: about a 15-minute drive from both The Strip and Chinatown, and close to UNLV.

Parking: free in the strip mall lot. Opens 7 days a week which is convenient for your craving.

I was told by a staff member of Kusina Ni Lorraine Buffet that Manny Pacquiao’s and Jo Joy eat their buffet every time they come to Vegas and their photos with the owner are posted on their entrance wall. I asked to see it and only saw what supposedly Manny’s mother. I can’t confirm it since I don’t know what Manny’s mom looks like so you have to find out about that yourself. It’d be fun to see Manny Pacquiao’s and Jo Koy posted photo both eating buffet while enjoying Whip X Bánh Mì fresh made Vietnamese coffee next time I visit this shared space; joyful marriage of both cuisine Vietnamese...

Whip x Coffee’s new location in Vegas’ new Filipino town on Maryland Pkwy is a must visit! Especially with Jon at the helm! Camille was amazing and really made the experience memorable.

The collab with @kusinanilorraine is a stroke of genius. Their BBQ pork Banh Mi with curry dip, served on Kosina Lorraine’s homemade bread, is out of this world. 🥖

The seasonal Fall menu is on point. The Vietnamese coffee with pumpkin cold foam is a sweet, seasonal treat. Don’t miss the Ube coffee with Ube cold foam!

Speaking of which, the Pandan coconut water is super refreshing! For matcha lovers, the strawberry matcha is a unique twist, and the Calamansi sugarcane drink is zesty and delicious. Even the little ones are covered with the strawberry milk option. 🍓

Before you leave, check out their take home coffee selection. The instant coffees (weasel, ube, and egg & sugar free options) are great for a quick fix, and the Dakmil Vietnam coffee beans are a must-try for coffee aficionados.

This place is so tasty!! I wandered in here on my way to the beauty supply store that used to be next door. I was disappointed to find out that they moved, so as a consolation, I went in here for a little treat. I’m so glad I did! The ube matcha was delicious. The matcha was well mixed and high quality, and the ube cold foam was so good I ended up taking the lid off of the drink and scarfing it all down after I had finished the drink.
