Jazzyblu — Restaurant in Nevada

Jazzyblu is such a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming, with great music and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay all night. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was even better than expected. I loved that they have vegan options too—it shows they really thought about everyone when creating the menu.

My husband had the Blackened salmon and shrimp and fried alligator, I had the vegan gumbo with house salad without cheese. The mocktails were more than just mixed juice.

We actually went on a night without live music, and it was still such a nice experience. The staff mentioned that live music happens on Fridays, so we’re excited to come back and enjoy that next time.

The tables are a bit small for a place that serves full-course meals, but honestly, it works with the cozy, jazz-inspired ambiance. You can tell they set their standards high here, and it shows in every detail.

Me and my partner came on a Thursday night and it seemed to be a swing dance practice night. We were fine with that because we wanted something with good food and low key. The entertainment/music was not up to par in my opinion and left a lot to be desired. We were seated promptly but it was very dark in the establishment to where we could not read the menu and had to use flashlights. We were reseated eventually in a better lit table. The menu online is currently different from what is offered thru the weekday, which I wish we would have known. Please be aware there are no alcoholic drinks served here so this is a good place for a mocktail but not if you are looking for a full bar. The food was very slow in coming out (30-60 mins) for main course. I had to take away a star for this. The moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a perfect morning.
