The Fish Market — Restaurant in Windham

I was extremely disappointed by the way I was treated at the fish market today. I have been a loyal customer for quite some time, but the lack of honesty displayed by the staff has left me not wanted to go back. I went in there and was about to make a purchase of 3 fish and one big one. The price for the 3 was 18.86, and the big one came up to 13 something. Hand over to check out. I told the guy I would just get the big one. He charged me the price of the 3 I went and sat down and said Nun, but when the fish was ready, I told him about the price and how it was 13 something. He denies it . What really irked me was the silence of the girl who originally weighed the fish and knew the correct pricing. Her failure to speak up and support the truth only added to the sense of embarrassment and frustration I felt. Even when the fish was reweighed clean the price came up to 12 something and they meant to tell me the price was 18.86$. How does that make sense? I felt embarrassed and ashamed for the female worker cause I understood maybe it could have been a mistake by the guy but the girl knew the fact and stayed quiet about thats not how u make a human look in front...

I always tell my friends in willimantic, "Do you see an Ocean around willimantic?" I've been living in s. whindham for 30 year. Two days ago I went to this fish market for the first time. The fish was not fresh. All the fish looked darken and old. I strongly advise you not to eat the salmon. They had two kind. The King looked darken and broken apart. That is a sign that is old and not fresh. The other salmon typed did looked more pinkish, but I noticed something about it. A lot of fat. That is a sign that is a Farm Salmon. Farm salmon are giving mainly artificial grains from china and some are known to be toxic. The fat in the fish is a sign of artificial feeding. Farm salmons are subject to lots of water lice because they are not in motion. So the farmers have to use pesticides on farm salmon to keep them away... lots of pesticides because the current is always in motion and moves the pesticides as it is spray. I then noticed two stickers on top of the cooler about the salmons. Sure enough it says that they are Farm Salmon. So leave you with this, "DO YOU SEE AN OCEAN AROUND WILLIMANTIC?" What i'm trying to say is , the seafood in this market...

Been my first time there to pick up food, the experience was okay. I walked in, everyone in the front had their masks on but when you looked to the kitchen no one back there was wearing a mask. And when the staff in the front went to the back room the first thing they did was to lower their mask. I ordered the shrimp lunch special and I left. And to be honest I didn't eat my lunch. I was overwhelmed with what I saw ,that I just threw away my lunch. I couldn't help think who cooked my food? Did they touch their face? Did they sneezed? Did they cough? With today been so uncertain, regarding the Corona Virus, I couldn't take a risk. I know that wearing a mask is a pain in the behind. But been in that industry of preparing food, their concern should be the well being of others and the safety of preparing that food for others. And I didn't feel safe...
