Lupe's Diner & Agave Room — Restaurant in Windsor

Ordered the Tilapia salad & Grilled chicken super burrito to go. Street parking was difficult to find. Entered restaurant with my mask on for reasons that only concern me; saw a family of 8 or 9 seated just inside from the main entrance with other people further inside...not too busy. It was my 1st time here...no one greeted me...had to walk from the bar area and find the cash register where I told one of the workers I was picking up a phone order. On my way to the register, a man (white) from the family of 8-9 made a comment about my mask (which I chose to ignore). When I walk out after getting my food, I was met with stares from the same family. If I were a violent person, I would've taken off my mask and shoved it down the man's throat! Some people are just looking for trouble...

Asked that the dressing be on the side and they forgot it completely! Salad was meh and Tilapia was fishy. Chicken burrito was good, but chips were stale and salsa was nothing to...

My Dad, cousin and I came here for lunch. Food was pretty tasty. I had the Chicken Fajitas. Tender tasty chicken. My Dad had Chile Relleno and my cousin a simple Cheese Quesadilla. Booth was comfortable. Nice murals on the wall. Service was innattentive and a bit slow. Enjoyed a delicious Flan shared by all three of us. 😊Update 10/25: I came here with my dog Rosie to enjoy a burrito... and the service was great. The waitress was super sweet as well as the staff. They were super kind to my dog. It's so nice to have restaurants that allow little dogs in while you eat. The outdoor seating is set up for Covid rules. Service was very attentive and the outdoor eating...

Took a day trip today and made a lunch stop in Windsor. Lupe's was reccomend by a local storekeeper. Excellent service. I had a house margarita, yum. I have to eat low salt so i ordered a chicken ceasar. WOW! I was pleasantly surprised. The salad was perfect not too much nice serving size, the dressing was goid, but what took it over the top, was the grilled chicken. I dont know what they season it with but it was awesome! Not only that the chicken had a perfect little crisp on the outside, but juicy tender on the inside. What!!! I uad to tell the server tell the chef Kudos! Next time I'm in Windsor I'll have anything with...
