IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN PLEASE READ. So my issue with this place is my first experience my wife orders a "miso raman with tofu" all vegetarian ingredients on the menu. Is it vegetarian, NO! We live almost an hour away and while out we decide on this place. When we get home the broth smells and taste like meat. We call and they confirmed that the miso raman with tofu is made with pork broth!?! Their response she had was that they offer seaweed base borth, but only as a substitute upon request. I can not request a substitute when I didnt think I needed one. Now we have all the fixings with no broth to eat! The tofu was one solid piece, unseasoned, just boiled tofu. The rice was very dry and rice was kind of old. This meal was extremely unsatisfactory for the price. Maybe I just went at a bad time.

We absolutely love this place! We went here for dinner recently and I had miso soup, we shared veggie egg rolls, and I had the veggie dragon rolls. It was all so delicious and everything I tried was amazing! The service was excellent and our waitress was both friendly and attentive. I'm so happy that I found this hidden gem. The food was very flavorful and the portions are generous. I had a Crux white wine and my husband had a Crux red wine. I tried both and loved them both! I love that a lot of the wines are their list are local and that they support local and small wineries. The ambiance inside was great and I even had leftovers to take home! We highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back soon!

In what has quite possibly been one of the longest days I have had in a minute. I needed something to cheer me up. This spot was located across from my hotel so it was very convenient. I got there about 40 minutes before they closed but the entire staff still served me incredibly well. I got the miso ramen and it hit the spot. Not too filling, just the right amount. I paired that with a lovely rainbow roll which was also the right portion. The fist and avocado tasted incredibly fresh and I didn’t even need to add any soy sauce or anything extra it was perfect as is. It’s a cozy spot with nice lighting. Highly recommend checking this spot out

Don't go here if you don't have all the time in the world to wait for them to be in the mood to pack up your order. I called my order in well in advance of when I needed it, and when they said 25 minutes, I gave them 35. When I showed up to the restaurant, I was told that my order was ready, but that they weren't packing it up right now, so I should wait for about 5 minutes. The woman who said this to me, then proceeded to help out 5 white males who didn't seem to be in any kind of hurry. I waited 5 minutes, and then took my place in the small line at the hostess counter. When I got to the front of that line she told me that "they weren't packing things up right now" and I should "chill" a little longer. I told her that I did not have time, and that if my order was ready, I needed them to pack it up right away. She went over to the bar and began (presumably) packing up my order. Then she disappeared into the back, and sent over a waitress who almost gave me someone else's order. When I was finally able to convince her that it wasn't my order, she asked me to wait for 5 minutes. I told her that I couldn't, that I'd already been told my order was ready, and that it needed to be packaged up. Another 5 minutes later, I finally got my food. At this point, I don't care how it tastes. I am never going back to this restaurant again. They're lackadaisical approach to customer service, and they're obvious sexism, is a major turn off. P.S. After all this, the food is generic, and they didn't include any Ginger or wasabi with my nigiri sushi. What's the point of sushi without Ginger and...

I’m new around Sonoma county and I reside in Cloverdale. I stumbled upon this place a few months ago when my daughter was craving sushi and we happened to be heading out of town so we stopped by here on our way out and I was flabbergasted by the establishment and the super servers who are very exceptional, alert and kind! I don’t think I’ve ever had better service anywhere. One in particular Alyssa seems to be there every time we happen to visit which isn’t often but I do travel out of my way to go here now when my daughter and I are craving Asian food. I can tell she really enjoys her job! Excellent performance. There was another as well but unfortunately I didn’t catch her name and she wasn’t even our server at the time but overheard us discussing an extra roll we wanted and she peeked her head out from the kitchen area and let us know she heard that and she’s got it coming which was just incredible awareness to be paying attention to the tables! The food presentation and amount is very generous which is incredible and very satisfying! Also the atmosphere and lighting is phenomenal. My only personal opinion is I wish they played less mainstream pop music and more Japanese-esque instrumental music haha but that’s not even really important. I’m very much appreciative of this...

I really want to give Qimara a higher review but not after the food and service I received yesterday... The menu description for the 49er’s role reads “snow crab”, but the crab they used was imitation crab. When I asked the waitress she said they call imitation crab “snow crab” at Qimara. I informed her that snow crab IS REAL CRAB, and that the menu description is 💯 false advertising. She said that if I wanted to order real crab, which the menu reads, I would have to pay $5 more! That seemed ridiculous, but I agreed. There real snow crab role arrived and it was half the size of the imitation role, wasn’t prepared the same way (instead of mixed with mayo and seasoned, it was just a few skinny crab legs thrown inside with a small amount of avocado)… Not very appetizing at all. They also recently had a menu-wide price increase and are serving smaller portions. The overall quality and taste of everything we ordered felt a lesser quality sushi than I have had there before, so this was also a factor in my...
