Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Winnsboro

Well .... DQ just ruined my day yesterday 1000% First... They took my order and got it correct the first time. They even smiled and were all bubbly and cheerful. They never asked me to repeat myself, and they gave me the correct change back. Their make up that day was on point too 🤔 When I got my order, it was piping hot, seemed to have a handful extra of fries, and the soda machine had the correct syrup to soda water ratio 😑😞 Their employee even filled up two ketchup cups for me when I kindly asked if she could... as I was stuck in the round booth table not able to get out easily to get it myself after working a hard day and being completely exhausted.... Just gave me absolutely nothing to complain about except it being a good experience and now I must go there more often 😑👎 Maybe one day they'll give me something worth truly...

I have been a well acclaimed food critic for 4 years now, and the youngest of my craft, now I'm writing from my alternate account as I'm traveling finding areas out of the blue to find good food. Now normally a Dairy Queen wouldn't be my stop but the locals pointed me here. As I came in it didnt seem like much, a small home town location from a larger food chain. But as I talked to the workers and made my order I found there might be more to this small town DQ then meets the eye, and sure enough I was correct. It may not be the places I usually visit with big menus and 5 star chefs, but if your in the area and looking for good food at a fair price with the nicest people you've met. Make this dairy queen your next stop.

Since COVID, this place really has gone down hill and has not improved since.

Tonight, the husband went to grab us ice cream and went through the driver. When we got the order he went inside to verify what he had ordered because it didn't look right, but one of the teenagers insisted that it was correct.

I ended up having to go back in because it definitely wasn't right. The person in charge tonight was so short and lacked customer service skills. And even then, the blizzards were watery and not what we ordered...

I I wish I had just taken before and after pictures of what we ordered and what we got and what we should have gotten but hindsight is 20/20.

I hope they get back to what...
