If you can imagine what it would be like to eat in the kitchen of a real Mexican family, this is it! I speak from experience growing up across the street from one. The pico is very fresh, the red and green sauces are excellent, bacon wrapped jalepenos, lengua (de vaca), carnitas, fajitas, homemade corn tortillas and you have to finish it off with one of the real fruit ice cream bars! You will not go here for the decor, atmosphere or location, but if you enjoy DELICIOUS & AUTHENTIC Mexican food at a great price then you'll come back again and again! Enjoy!

Delicious Mexican Cuisine! With a variety in menu options, I recommend the Mixed Molcajete to share and the Quesabirria. The women working in the kitchen are lovely and hard working. Glad to support this latinx woman-owned business anytime!

Food and service was excelent! Definitely one of those little local gems where you can eat a delicious meal with friends or family without braking the bank and you'll be supporting small businesses in these times. Coming back when I'm around.

Kinda on the fence on this one. It was a Sunday evening so not crowded at all. Service was fast but it seemed she didn't want to be there either. Great menu. Seemed as though they charge dinner prices for lunch menu serving sizes. I always choose the chili relleno for my first meal at any Mexican place because it is a good judge of what style or region of the rest of the dinners. I prefer full size stuffed releno with a thick breading cooked to where it doesn't ooze so much juice it makes soup on my plate with the rice and beans. But that's my preference. It was cooked well. The rice was fluffy they beans were.. well they were on the plate and that's all I can say. The corn tortillas we're good. The one thing that I can't stand at any Mexican, Latin, Central America restaurant. Is when they bring out tobasco for sauce. Only thing worse is when they don't bring any at all. I am going to try it again as I think the place was probably just not having a...

Some of the best Mexican food around—and we've been to most of them.

A friend and I discovered La Conchita yesterday while in Winnsboro, and we had the Chili Relleno with sour cream sauce, stuffed with chicken. Since Chili Relleno is my favorite Mexican dish, I like to try it whenever I eat at a new restaurant. This is probably one of the very best I've had. I liked it so much I took my husband there today! He loves Birria, so although it wasn't on the menu, he asked our server if they had it—and he was happy that they did.

All of it was great. And...their corn tortillas are homemade. So delicious. If you like "hole-in-the-wall" places, this is one...

Yes, this "hole in the wall" restaurant/market serves the best authentic mexican food that I have found in East Texas. Excellent every time. From huge chorizo breakfast burritos to my personal favorite, the 3 chicken enchilada dinner with green sauce smothered with fresh jalapeno😰, feta, onion, lettuce next to yellow rice and perfectly cooked beans😚 - both for right around five bucks each, oh my! 😃 How authentic you may ask ? Nothing in the market has prices on it. You will never be charged more than they need to make. Honor, integrity and excellent food at rock bottom prices. Thank God, viva La Conchita... ...
