China Town Restaurant — Restaurant in Winslow

I should NOT Even give this "establishment" one star! It deserves a NEGATIVE rating! This place was GROSS. Upon walking into the establishment I felt like I would need a tetnus shot after just sitting in there. The food simmering in hot dirty water with old broccolli floating in it for what looked like HOURS upon HOURS of no customers.... Looked slimy, old and possibly bad. I finally summoned the courage to eat. I chose a chicken dish with rice. I took one bite and spat out what I was chewing into a napkin! The Chicken had a funky taste and odor. I told the young man running the register that I was unhappy with my food and wanted a refund for what I DID NOT EAT...Which was ALL OF IT! I was refused a refund by the owner/cook. I will NEVER eat here again. I suggest that if you are in the Winslow area... GO SOMWHERE ELSE! This place needs to be shut down and I will be reporting them to the board of health, as well as making a call to the USDA inspector. I spent seven dollars and walked away hungry because their food was inedible. The people saying this place is good probably live here and have nowhere to go for QUALITY Chinese food... Please do NOT believe the reviews. If your Traveling through Winslow... Eat fast food....

Please do not let the former run down KFC facade turn you off - this place may not be much, but the food is just fine for the money. I asked for a three item plate, and got two meats and an egg roll plus rice. My wife ordered similarly, and added soup ( it comes in one size - large ) and two drinks (also one size - small ) and played less than $14.00 per person. Nicely done, but it was the portions that sold me. I will be eating twice from the same plate. The portions are LARGE. Again, the place is old, but clean. The general tso's is not over battered, and each bite is sizable, and delicious. The teriyaki chicken was not too sweet, and also delicious. My wife had some issues with the lo mein; I think this is a problematic noodle anyways, and I generally don't order it. The rice that came with my order was jus the way I like it -...

Poor customer service skills I was ordering and the person behind the counter was looking down. No hello no greetings. I was with my family and I made one order the guy says "That's it"?? I say "Nooo I'm obviously with more people I'm going to order more than one tray".. Was only given three forks no spoon no napkins... I had to ask for more forks, napkins and the spoon for soup.. The food wasn't so good. Lo Mein was dry no taste to it. Everything tasted bland of all the Chinese Restaurants I've been to this place wasn't so good. It was awkward so quiet, place was empty now I know why...
